Valuable information & advice for youth
This book is written beautifully and with a lot of love. It informs us comprehensively about a range of important topics that are usually not part of standard sex ed, but should be. These include how to stay safe, healthy, and protect yourself, physically and emotionally; sexual and gender identity and orientation; how to ensure that relationships are healthy; how to make allies of your parents and develop trust about discussing these topics; how you can recognise attraction; your rights about not engaging in what does not feel right, in spite of possible peer pressure; differentiating between sex and love; being responsible, etc. In short, this sounds like a best friend talking, who is nonetheless objective and well informed, and has your best interests in mind. Really well done all around, from the content and style to the narration. Highly useful and recommended for teens to help them make the best choices and also for parents as an awareness raiser.
