About this listen
The last time Dr. Meghan Forester saw Davin and the other infected Kazzies, she made a heart-wrenching choice. Now, her new life is filled with loneliness.
Trying to carry on while Davin and her friends are held captive on reservation one, Meghan begins a daunting position at Compounds 10 and 11 in Washington state. There, she is thrust into a challenging new world with a handsome assistant as her guide.
But Meghan refuses to abandon her friends, so when reports surface of atrocities being committed within reservation one, she returns to South Dakota and discovers the only way to save Davin and her friends is to face her old enemy. An enemy who will stop at nothing to keep the Kazzies contained, even if that means taking a life.

Brilliant series
I read this series a while ago and loved it, now we seem to be living in a time with a virus and people like Meghan in real life trying to find a cure. It's quite scary. But the audible version of this book is fabulous. I love the narrator. She's definitely Meghan to me know. She does a great job at the men's voices too. I wasn't sure in the first book about female narrators doing male voices. But after listening to several audio books I know this narrator is good. In this book everyone has the vaccine but the kazzies still aren't free. Meghan is offered at job managing Katie's compound and she decides as she made a deal with Dr Roberts that's she'd keep away from the Reservation that's she'll give the job a try. Really great story. Definitely worth a listen or a read if you prefer reading. I received a copy of this book from the author but the reviews are my opinions.
