Good Listen
Bodhi is down on his luck but sees Coco and knows she is someone special. He saves her and she believes that she only feels safe around her. With mysterious things going on in her life she is scared about what happens next. Bodhi's only concern is the safety of Coco even at the risk to his own life.

opposites attract!
Two people from totally different worlds collide to fall in love. This is such a feel good romance. A second chance on love and life for Bodhi. Coco is a hair dresser with a kind heart. Bodhi is homeless with an admiration for Coco. When Coco needs help, Bodhi is right there. At times, I thought he could be her stalker, but then at other times, I just wanted the best for him. I love the slow build of their romance. It gives depth to the story and just really helped me enjoy their journey. I could not put this book down. I could not wait to find out what happened next.
Lia Holland really connected with the characters. Lia brought out all the emotions, suspense and chemistry as it was written. I was easily lost in her narration and felt as if the story was a movie in my mind. Lia really brought out Coco. I felt as if i connected with Coco, through the narration. Lia was able to keep the characters distinct. Her male voice was smooth and not forced. I cannot wait to hear more from Lia Holland.

💨 💥 Quick story...
Gahhhh! I was seriously feeling for Coco! While Bodhi could had gone about his approach slightly less creepy... I get the inner struggles we all go through. The mind telling us we aren't good enough. I found the story to move a lot quicker than I expected. I really liked the mystery feel to it... it made the story feel almost obsessive!
The narrator, Lia Holland, did a good thorough job. She played Cocos parts very well. I feel like some of the vibe and the creep-factor could have been kicked up a few more notches with just the addition of a male voice. This is one of those stories that could have benefited very well from that feel of a deep voice.

Secret Admirer
Narration: Lia Holland did a really great job with this, first time I have heard her performance, but def not the last.
Story:First off, you won’t be able to put this down, so make sure you carve out the time to read this beginning to end. Bodhi & Coco are so sweet insta-love it’s hard not to feel all the emotions with them. Neither of them is in a really good place when they meet, both having a bit of baggage that only the other will really be able to help them through. I really love Harlow Layne’s writing its strong and flows seamlessly , these characters are amazing, and the twists will make you gasp!

Sweet!
I found this book to be sweet. It shows how money isn't everything. Both the main characters were likable. They had a couple of obstacles to overcome which made the book more interesting.Overall a good book. 🎧AudiobookObsession

Secret stalker
For me this book just didn’t sit with me right. I felt like the hero was trying to be protective and sweet but instead to me he came off kind of obsessive and stalking.
Heroine discovers hero is the one leaving her flowers and immediately thinks it’s sweet. There’s no question that this homeless man has been following her around and knows where she lives and works without her ever having to tell him. Then... THEN she just invites him to stay in her home without knowing anything about him.
I just really ever couldn’t get past this so the romance was completely lost on me, sadly.

Quite simply, a wonderful story!
Somehow Harlow Layne has managed to capture the essence of romance, emotion, personal struggle and suspense in a perfect balance where none overwhelms the others. It was my first book by this author and I loved it. I loved how delicately the plot was unfolded and how the characters were believable rather than flamboyant fictitious. I really zipped through this audiobook and now look forward to more!

Interesting choice of characters
This is the first book I've listened to by Harlow Layne. I was impressed with the unique choice of characters, though Bohdi's thoughts at times seemed odd and instantly possessive to the point of creepy. It also seems like there could have been more to the story between the last chapter and the epilogue, as I think working through those parts of the relationship could also have been interesting.

Great characters, a bit of suspense
This is a sweet, steamy book. CoCo was having a bad day and Bodhi knew he wanted to make her happier. This is an insta-love book where Bodhi starts to sound a bit like a stalker but a sweet one. But quickly, after he saves her, their relationship grows and these are sweet characters. CoCo has a big heart and even though Bodhi is homeless, she didn't take the material aspects into considerations- she only cares about what is in the heart. Bodhi is not an alpha character but is a sweet man who just wants to protect her. It's a sweet premise where both help each other grow and love.
While I thought Lia Holland did a good job, this is a dual POA so I think the narration would be elevated if there was a male narrator too. However, overall, the narration was good and kept my attention drawn to the story.

Wholesome romance
The author and narrator did a good job. The narrator has really good talent in telling the story. And the author does a good job in writing the story.
For me this was just a three-star Romance. It's very predictable. The author makes it painfully clear who is the hero, who is the heroine, and who is the villain. And I just found myself a little bit bored with the predictability.
Honestly I think this book will make a great movie. It'll be just the type of cheesy Romance movie that I would love to watch on Netflix when I'm having some me time and some snacks. But when it comes to my books I like it a little bit more exciting even if not dark and twisted. I don't want it to be predictable.
A little bit of foreshadowing to make me collect Clues along the way is great. but this is Neons signs highlighting everything to the point its overwrapped in a pretty little bow.
The foreshadowing was basically telling me what is about to happen in the next chapters.
I was praying for a curveball but nope it played out exactly how I thought.
Sorry author but the foreshadowing is just so heavy. A foreshadow should be a hint of what's to come and make me work for it. This is basically telling me what's going to happen next.
I exclusively read romance so it's quite possible that I'm able to predict this plot perfectly only because of my experience in the genre. Maybe i am jaded.
But I say this book is perfect for those who love sweet good wholesome Romance. The type of romance that should be turned into movies that belong on Netflix. I love watching those types of movies but I don't like that type of boring predictable plot in my books.
And I know that sounds weird but it's just my preference.
Don't let me deter you Away from this book. Please feel free to give it a chance.
My middle of the road rating is only my own preference not because the author or the narrator lacks in any type of skill.

Sweet Stalker
I am SO glad I added audio to this book! I really liked the book when I read it a couple of years ago but CoCo and Bodhi continued to captivate me. They are fiercely loyal to each other, despite the circumstances. They love with their whole heart, as well as body and mind. There's so much that could go deadly wrong but they remain strong together. 💙🔥🔥💙
I liked the narrator, Lia Holland, but I would've preferred a second narrator to go with the dual POV.

What a wonderful story!
This is such a great listen! Harlow Layne’s story is a wonderful take in rich girl/poor boy. Body has had a hard 4 years and is homeless... from the first time he sees Coco with tears in her eyes, all he wants is to make her happy. Coco has lost both parents and gained all of their money (which she never really wanted) and the home that they built just before their deaths. When Coco is attacked outside of her work, Body saves her... and from that point on, they are practically inseparable.
I loved this! It’s an interesting story, with some twists and turns you won’t expect, and Lia Holland did a wonderful job narrating this!

quick, steamy, exciting listen!
I wasn't sure what to think of this plot line as the Hero was homeless and creeping a bit on our heroine, but as the story developed, I grew to enjoy these characters and the way their story unfolded. The element of mystery and danger made for an exciting and intriguing adventure. The romance was there and I enjoyed this quick, steamy, exciting read. I received a free audiobook from the author and am happy to leave my honest review. I enjoyed the narration by Lia Holland.

Different but good!
I believe both the author and narrator were new to me. I enjoyed this story! Kept my interest. Was a little slow for me but the characters were well done. A few twists and turns and ups and downs. Goes to show that everyone needs someone to believe in them!

Coco and Bodhi!
I loved loved this story. It has a life lesson underlying in the story but the romance of it was amazingly beautiful. I loved Bodhi so much. I need a Bodhi! Coco has such a beautiful soul. I highly recommend this one. Lia Holland did a great job narrating this one.

sweet, love, romance
This is so emotional! Bodhi is everyones dream! Coco treats him as an individual as he is homeless and down on his luck
It all starts with a flower! He is her secret admirer, friend, protector, lover. She is his Goddess, friend, lover. She believes in him.
Coco gives him the trust, confidence and love he desrves. She builds him up, not tears him down. Homelessness is just an unfortunate state. and she doesnt look down on him for it!
Lia holland tells this beautiful story with so much emotion!

Really enjoyed this listen!
I loved the characters that Harlow Layne created in this book! Bodhi is such a sweet guy, reserved and drawn into himself because of his past. He is drawn to Coco from the first moment he sees her. He wants to sweep her up in his arms and protect her. Coco wants to help Bodhi, but he is reluctant to accept her help given his background. Coco come from a wealthy family, Bodhi the exact opposite. This book has such good pacing and balance. The romance and suspense is fantastic and I loved listening to it.
It was my first listen from narrator Lia Holland and she did a very good job. It is always difficult for me to listen to a book with a dual M/F POV with a single narrator, but Lia did a really good job of separating the voices of Bodhi and Coco. It kept me engaged and interested throughout.

what is wealth?
This is an overall well delivered romance read/listen that addresses what we value and what we would do to protect what we value most. Both main characters came across as very insecure which at times was a bit discouraging but both Coco and Bodie had alot of character growth. The narration was good but I think a dual narrative (male/female) would have been better. Loved the suspense and of course the HEA!
