Hunter!

Melissa Foster has done it again in writing a fantastic story. I love how she has created a group of characters that have depth, passion, friendships, and feel good moments. The humor she injects in the books is also great. The chemistry between characters is sizzling. I loved Hunter and Jana in this book. BJ Harrison is amazing bringing the characters to life. He adds the right inflections to his voice. The underlying message of overcoming insecurities and trusting oneself is poignant. This is an awesome listen.

Sweet Romance!

This is the sixth book in the Seaside Summers series, a small town romance. Hunter and Jana's story is beautifully written and sweet. Hunter is such a great man, caring and supportive. Jana is beautiful, They are both great characters. I liked to follow in their slow burn journey to love. I like the family ties in this series. Looking forward for more in the series. BJ Harrison did a good job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Melissa Foster never disappoints.

Jana & Hunter

We’re back at Seaside, this time for Jana and Hunter’s story. As usual Melissa Foster does a great job of taking you along for another romantic journey.

Jana and Hunter are two souls who connected as “bed buddies” keeping it casual, but Hunter Lacroux finds himself wanting more. More of Jana Garner and it confounds him. Jana’s smart mouth challenges him at every turn, only drawing him in deeper.

Jana has herself spread thin with her many obligations and insane schedule, dancer/instructor, boxer, actress and waitress at her brother Colton’s bar, her life is anything but simple. Still, commitment phobic due to several bad relationships she decides she’s never getting involved again, which is why she’s running scared of her own reaction to being with Hunter and only Hunter in the last six months.

As Hunter works on a new metal sculpture for a contest he and his brother Grayson are entering, he decides to help friend and co-worker Clark save his marriage. This brought out a side to Hunter that I think surprised even him. He looked up “how to be romantic” in an attempt to help Clark and so begins his own exploration of what it means and how it impacts him as well.

As Hunter pursues Jana, she runs fast, but their explosive passion pulls her back. Will Jana allow her fears to end what could possibly be the one true love for her? Or will she trust Hunter and find that real love is worth taking the leap? Of course you get more of the Seaside girls and their men who always add to the story with their antics, insight and laughs.

B.J. Harrison is a favorite narrator for me and he did a great job in both pacing and evoking emotions.

I have enjoyed every book in this series! The narration is always great. The author always does a great job with the character builds and plot! I can't wait to read more books by this author! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Hunter & Jana

Take me to Cape Cod for the summer! I love these books and the community Melissa Foster has created for me to escape with! It's like I am one of the bunch and get to enjoy all the relationships that are being built. Hunter and Jana have been sleeping together for the last year. Agreeing they do not want a relationship, they enjoy each other. But something has changed and Hunter is on a mission to win Jana over. Will he be able to? Does he know what romance is? Will she see his love? Talk about romance, Hunter had me from the very beginning. He is quite the man and he knows what he needs to do. There were periods that Jana frustrated me, but that just makes the story that much better. A little conflict goes a long way for these two to find their happiness. I also love seeing everyone else. From the happy couples to those with marriage problems, we live realistic issues with this community and I love how Foster compassionately handles it. Another amazing listen.

BJ Harrison continues his narration of the series. I love this because not only is he a good narrator, but he is consistent between books, making the series amazing. He enhances the listens and leaves me happy and satisfied!

I want to listen all over again!

Hunter Lacroux and Jana Garner have intense chemistry. They hooked up a few times but neither has spoken about it. But as they continue to be with each other Hunter wants more. He wants to date Jana. But does Jana want a relationship? They are both independent and headstrong people. Their paths seem to cross frequently as they share a circle of friends. Jana is plotting the course of her life with help from her friends at Seaside. Hunter is so supportive but something is holding Jana back. Melissa Foster tells this delightful story that exudes passion. The narration by BJ Harrison made me feel as though I was eavesdropping while following Jana and Hunter as they discovered their true feelings. Love how he changes his voice for different characters. Five stars for both author and narrator of Seaside Embrace.

Great book to listen to

Welcome back to Seaside! I enjoyed Jana and Hunters story. These two seem to always gravitate towards one another. They both are not wanting a full on relationship but do want to protect their hearts. Sometimes tho the heart just knows what it wants and everyone and everything else be damned.

BJ Harrison narrates once again and he does a great job. He makes you feel like you are right there at Seaside and makes the book enjoyable to listen to

Tough Walls to knock down

BJ Harrison and Melissa knocked it out of the park, again, with this one.

Jana was a tough nut to crack. Hunter never knew what he wanted when it came to women except one thing, NO STRINGS ATTACHED. Meeting Jana helped fill that because she wanted the same thing from guys. Little did he know that when he hocked up with the firecracker, he would be done shopping around. He wanted her and no one else and was bound a determined to get her WITH strings.
Jana, on the other hand, had hurdles to jump over and walls to climb when it came to her heart. She didnt want strings and fought Hunter tooth-n-nail the whole way to finding a relationship, along with trying to figure out what she wanted to do with her life!
But, Hunter proved to her through everything that he was perfect for her.

Loved it!

Seaside Embrace is the sixth book in the Seaside Summers series. Jana and Hunter really are meant to be together. But will they see it that way? I loved their story, and I enjoyed listening to the narrator. I highly recommend this book. 

Sinfully romantic

This audiobook pulled me right from the start. I love stories like this because it you can't pull me right at the start then i get bored fast. But this story by Melissa Foster was great right from the beginning. Right off the bat Hunter Lacroux and Jana Garner have a fun and pleasing night together. They have both been hooking up for a while with no strings attached. They fight constantly during the day and make up just as intense in the bedroom. Hunter has never been serious about anyone and Jana prefers to have her fun. Hunter starts having more feelings that he doesn't recognize but while he spends more time with Jana he realizes he wants more than their hookups. Can he romance Jana into giving their hookups something more meaningful? Only time and romance will tell. B.J. Harrison was the narrator and he was on point with the characters and pulling us into his narration. This is a must listen to audiobook.
