Summary
I volunteered to sneak onto an enemy battleship. Now I’m stranded on a prison moon with a hot Drexian pilot who can’t stand me.
I had no choice. It was either volunteer for a rescue mission for the Drexians or go to prison on Earth.
I know, I know. The irony isn’t lost on me. But what were the chances I’d end up on a creepy alien prison moon running for my life with a Drexian who seems annoyed that I saved him?
You’d think Jax would be grateful I used my considerable burglary skills to break him from the Kronock brig, but he looks at me like I’m dirt on the bottom of his boot. And I don’t think it’s because of my dodgy past back on Earth.
He’s got a grudge against humans. At least human females. Which is a problem since we’re stuck together on a swampy planet that’s too hot to wear much of anything.
All I have to do is survive until we’re rescued, and I’ll never have to see the aggravating Drexian again. If I can fight the urge to kill the annoyingly gorgeous alien for that long. Not to mention my urge to…
This stand-alone sci-fi romance novel features steamy scenes on an enemy prison moon, a smoking-hot Inferno Force pilot, a cat-burglar turned rescuer, and a guaranteed HEA. If you like feisty heroines, aliens with extra erogenous zones, and lots of adventure, you’ll love Scorch, the second book in Tana Stone’s sci-fi romance Inferno Force of the Drexian Warriors series. This series is a spin-off from the original best-selling Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors series.

Great story
I really enjoyed this story it had a good storyline. Only negative was that Sam did a little to fast but it did not hinder the story. Looking forward to listening to book 3.

Speed issues with narration
The female sounds too fast and the male sounds very slow, so it's not possible to tinker satisfactorily with the playback settings to improve it. Words are drawn out unnaturally slow by the male, which is irritating as hell and hampers the flow of the action and drama. I had book 1 so was looking forward to book 2.
Ironically, the female, who is supposed to be from "London" speaks with a Devon/Cornwall accent. Gave up at 3hrs.
ANNOYING VERY DISAPPOINTING

Great Story
I loved this book. Tana Stone does not disappoint. lots of humor, but the adventure is amazing. I loved the narrators. I am a sucker for a British accent. But our girl is smart. street smart and of course our warrior is not happy with her at first but find outs she's all he ever wanted. the romance is hot and the side characters are interesting and I can't wait for the next.

Good one
I though the male voicing was good. I liked the back & forth seeming more like a play rather than the usual male/female voicing each chapter where the narrator voices both the male & female characters. And I loved the perky British snarky female.
Overall a nice listen.

It’s a great adventure!
It was supposed to be an easy mission: steal the cocky Drexian warrior back from the enemy. Turns out that was the easy part.
Jax is not pleased to learn his elite team sent a human female, a professional thief to rescue him. He’s giving orders that she’s ignoring while trying to do what she does best- work alone. When they crash on a dark moon with a darker secret, can they work together to survive long enough to be rescued?

Awesome
Great plot, such an exciting book, well written. There was some great action scenes, some intense and emotional situations with the bits of humor and sarcasm that really balanced things perfectly. I love these characters really loved the narrators especially the woman's accent. They done an outstanding job with the characters. I definitely recommend this book.

Love Jax and Sam
Enjoyed this story…it was the ‘cliff hanger’ from Ignite and continues on with Jax’s story. I love how these two tease each other and slowly learn how to deal with their different backgrounds and expectations. It’s a simmer to a full burn when they get their HEA. I love Inferno Force!

Another great book!
Ms Stone knows how to write a winner. This book is as wonderful as all her other books. Her characters are smart, wonderful and so irresistible. Again the hero and heroine seem to be at odds but secretly want to be together. Once they give in the sparks fly and they will fight together for their HEA. Can’t wait for the next one to be released.
