Story
At fifteen I fell in love. His name was Jake Stephens and he took the abandoned, lonely girl I had been and made me whole. His love was a pure and unconditional love that made every day better than the last; a fairy tale of my very own. But this story isn't about Jake. It's about Abel Madden; the man I meet after the fairy tale goes to hell. A cocky, arrogant man who says what he wants, does as he pleases, and makes no excuses for it. He irritates me--downright pisses me off at times--but he also brings me back to life.

Donovan and I met at a coffee shop to do the suitcase exchange. Turned out, it wasn’t just his voice that was sexy. The man holding my luggage was absolutely gorgeous, and we had an immediate spark. He got me to admit that I’d snooped in his bag and then convinced me to make it up to him by letting him buy me coffee. Coffee led to dinner, dinner led to dessert, and dessert led to spending an entire weekend together. So what did I do to repay him for his kindness? I waited until he was in the shower, then ghosted him.

The one that got away. Every girl has one, right? Mine was a charming, British aristocrat who turned my world upside down one summer. From the moment I first spotted Leo in the distance through my binoculars, I’d been captivated. I certainly never expected to find a man showering outside of the property across the bay in his birthday suit.

Perfect, with a little bit of dark
Oh wow! I need more reads like this. Not too much angst, just a little dark, fab story, great characters, and lots of chemistry between the main characters. Brought together by fate and circumstance (or maybe by a witches spell), and even though they were brought up thousands of miles apart, both Brochan and Lizzie had very similar lives growing up. Both unloved by the one person who should protect and care for them the most. Set mainly in Scotland this story is just beautiful, rough around the edges - yes, harsh - yes, tense and a little bit thrilling - yes to both, but it’s still a wonderful love story. I loved the narration, I could listen to Aaron Shedlock and Tracy Marks all day, their Scottish accent were authentic yet not too strong that they were indecipherable. I loved this audio.

An okay story
The story start out strong, but faded throughout the book in my opinion... That aside it is not a waste of time and worth a listing.
The narrators have good voices... The female narrator is a bit tiresome due to a tendency to use the exact same modulation in every effing sentence... But it is tolerable because she have a good voice.

great story
Would you consider the audio edition of Savage to be better than the print version?
i have not read the book but the audio was great both narrators did a great job with the accents.
Who was your favorite character and why?
both main characters were so interesting.
What does Tracy Marks and Aaron Shedlock bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
they make it almost like watching a film if you close your eyes you can see it playing out amazing job.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
i try and make a audio book last a few days but this can be hard sometimes and this was one of those times.

This is my first book from both the authors and I believe the narrators. The story was great and kept me interested the whole time waiting to see what came next and the narration was AMAZING! I absolutely loved the accent done and can’t wait to hear more of it. The ending of this story was great. I loved seeing how it all came together.

Bent, Not Broken!
I was amazed by this book! I loved the setting of Scotland for most of the story and thought the imagery was so well done. Both narrators added so much to the book with their accents, distinguishable voices for various characters, and the raw emotions. Both are top notch!
The main vibe I got from this book was Bent, not Broken. What the characters endured, no one should ever have to go thru. This book had some unexpected twists and turns, some despicable characters along with hope, resilience, and love.
I definitely will listen to more books by this author and narrators, plus I will listen to this book again as it was so well done. My review is not a synopsis, but my opinion.

Amazing!
Scotland. LA Fiore has made this a place that I would like to visit. This story of two broken souls is one that will resonate with me for a while. Lizzie, an artist, has had a horrible childhood and has never found a place where she felt that she belonged. When she inherits a cottage from her Aunt Brianna in Scotland, she finally finds her heart...in more than one way. Brochan, a tortured soul, finds his way to Lizzie and their story of love and redemption begins. This emotional story has a beauty and the beast quality giving the dark, broody, dangerous hero the chance to find his love. But is their connection strong enough to survive? Fiore brings Scotland alive with the brilliant descriptions, castles, foods(haggis..not sure I want that) and phrases. Brochan is a complex and emotional character complimented by Lizzie who can see the good in him. Their journey is one worth going on with them.
Now the narration. Narrators can make or break a book, but the casting of Aaron Shedlock and Tracy Marks for this one is brilliant. The talent that these two have with creating a character's personality through voice is impeccable. Throw in the ability to do a precise Scottish accent and it is beyond incredible. The way these two bring this book to life is music to the ears.

Any additional comments?
This audio was smoking hot. The accent performed by the male narrator made my panties wet. Both narrators did a fabulous job. The story was intriguing, enduring, emotional, and steamy, with a side order of danger. The heroin was strong and intelligent. The story line was well balanced and quick. I loved every moment. If you’re looking for a easy listen, with heat and some mystery this audio is perfect for you.

Impressive narration!
Savage by LA Fiore… this book absolutely blew me away! I mean, look the cover to start with… don’t you just feel like the cover model is staring into your soul? I swear, he can see right through me and he knows it all!! The colors and his eyes are seriously entrancing! It’s a gorgeous cover, yet, it’s so simple looking! Fiore’s words are just as entrancing as the cover. I was enthralled!
Savage starts out totally brutal and it really sets the pace for the book. It’s deep and intense and pulled me in. Brochan McIntyre has had a rough life… I won’t get into all that but he’s broken. It’s so intense and dark!! His past haunts him and his past saddens me and made my heart ache for him. Lizzie Danton finds herself with an inherited cottage in Scotland (if only) and once she arrives, she finds that she feels a connection, she feels she’s found a place she can call her home.
Brochan is a total enigma… people don’t know what to think of him. Is he a werewolf? People whisper and point. What he is, is broken, he’s reserved and keeps to himself. I’ll tell ya… I’ve never been to Scotland, I’ve never researched it or anything and I suck and geology… but I felt like Fiore totally brought me to Scotland!! I felt like I got to live it through Lizzie’s eyes… it’s like having a child and experiencing life over through them. I loved it! The foods, the foreign language, the views of the land. It was a masterpiece! Fiore told a magically story of a place that seems like a dream and two people who deserve more than they’ve ever had!
This narration is the most amazing I have ever heard. If I could give this more than 5 stars for performance, I would. I've seen several books by Aaron Shedlock and Tracy Marks but I have never listened to them previously. Aaron's Scottish brogue was the best I have ever heard! The narrators inflicted so much emotion with just their voices. I read this book before and I loved it, however, listening to the narration brings it up another notch. I cried through this audio book and I didn't cry through the book.

savage but oh so good
Wow what a story! The beginning was so dark, it broke my heart, I cried, but I stuck to it. The voices of Mr. Shedlock and Ms. Marks helped with that. The author has a way with words that keeps the reader entranced despite the dark topics. The story ends in HEA and it is that much more precious because of what Brogan and Lizzie had experienced before they met and their journey to achieve it. Love and hope are very powerful tools. Loved the hint of paranormal, is the Aunt a witch? Would be great to find out in a future book.
I adore Ms. Marks' work, she is on my auto-buy list.
My first listen from Mr. Shedlock and oh boy he is sooo good, his Scot brogue is sexy, his voice is so versatile, I am looking forward to more audios.

One of the best books I’ve listened to this year
Holy smokes, where to begin?! I’m having a difficult time writing this review because I can’t come up with the words to express how much I enjoyed this book. It was completely different than what I was expecting, rather, it was oh so much better! I finished it in one day; being that it comes in at just over 10 hours, that should give you some idea of how great it is. It is beautifully written and, even more beautifully told. The author and both narrators are new to me but, I can promise you, I will be listening to more from all three. I just absolutely loved it. I am on my way to audible to purchase another book from one or all of this story telling team! I received a review copy at my request and voluntarily reviewed.

A breathtakingly poignant dark tale of hope!
Brochan and Lizzie's achingly heartbreaking tale begins describing their horrific childhood injustices that form the path each end up on leading them to the fate that crosses oceans until the couple finally meet. It is obvious that they are destined to be together to complete each other.
I adored how the majestic terrain of Scotland was described with broad strokes of an artist. I easily was swept away into the imagination of the author and the narration added so much for me in the way I was drawn in and gently pulled to the images spun by the author's creativity.
Each character added to the grandiose tale. Though it wasn't what I expected, it was unexpectedly warm and beautiful. I loved the foundation of love both created in their lives by cherishing the people who loved and supported them as they emerged from such devastating beginnings that could have destroyed weaker people.
The story is one of my favorites because of the message of hope that led to love. The beauty described of the castle, the savage and brutal flawed man with haunted blue eyes that were initially dead but come to life, and the love of family members and friends who will give unconditional love held me spellbound.
I loved this book's overall message and urge you to let yourself get the full experience with narration because those accents and voices enhance the writing and make this book one you certainly won't forget.

It's amazing what you see from the outside looking in. Things are never what they appear to be, and yet some are and we choose to turn a blind eye to them. This story starts with two totally different forms of child abuse with two very different children. Usually these stories are of underprivileged children, but not this time. It seems money does not buy all.
This story is an interesting journey of two broken soles finding and healing each other, and discovering who they themselves are. No matter how much they fight it they are drawn to one another. Their tale is fun, full of adventure, danger and surprises. The narration team does an amazing job on this.
