Summary
Ignorance is bliss, and more than anything, I wish I'd never learned the truth.
Once I finished repairing my broken well and coming to terms with the fact that I was in love with both Tess and Nera, I expected to return to Sanguine and recover, not get into a fight with my sister, leaving part of Sanguine destroyed.
After my fight with Gwen, everything is perfectly clear. With my ascension to C-Rank, I now have power beyond even an S-Ranked Blood Mage. But I can no longer keep my abilities hidden. Desdemona Ingram, the headmistress of Sanguine Academy, knows about my blood, and the only thing she sees is a tool.
To that end, my party and I are being sent across the country to investigate disturbing reports of demonic activity. Though the challenges in front of us are numerous, the problem we've come to learn is...it's not the demons we need to worry about.

Thirsty for More
Usually in series like this, book 3 is my tipping point. Minor annoyances become major, and the plot is totally lost. Not here!
This series remains consistently good, and creativity still growing. The conflict becomes more focused instead of the "Me vs. The World" motif book 1 and 2 were to the author's credit.
I have minor gripes, like how every character has to laugh all the time like they're heavily drugged. It got to a point where I started bristling at the word. (If the author is reading this, please use other words than "laughed" like: chuckled, snickered, chortle, guffawed, etc). and Callan. Oof. I know he's the comedy relief best friend stereotype, but the mixture of the writing and the male narrator voicing him as a kind of "weed bro" had me wishing he wouldn't show up in scenes and ruin the flow, atmosphere, and emotions.
Still I look forward to 4

Awesome
An absolutely awesome continuation of one of my favorite harem series. One of the most interesting magic systems along with amazing character development makes this series an absolutely necessary addition to anyone who enjoys the genre. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up!i

Slow start but picked up
The first third of the book I would give a 3.5 the rest a 6.0 (and no that is not a typo). The one exception to this would be the narrators as they were excellent throughout the book.
So here’s my advice, slog your way through the first third so you can get to some great writing in the final 2/3 it will be worth it to you.
