Enjoyed this very much!
The story was really cute I really liked it there was a lot of sex but whatever. I like the different take on mermaids and merman‘s in Poseidon. And I liked how it kind of ended not like perfectly happily ever after but you get the picture I enjoyed that. The narrators were good but I had an issue when the female character was talking and then a male would come in it was just so monotone and I I didn’t like that but overall I I wouldn’t not not listen to it. If you want a sweet read… I mean it’s not sweet but it’s nice it’s a good story

Reverse haram, young characters and a lot of bullying at the beginning.
Trigger warning for those who have difficulty with being bullied. There is a lot of that happening in the beginning of the series. Also, the characters are barely of legal age for all of the sex. If any of that bothers you this isn’t your book.

1 gal, 3 guys, happy ending
Salinity Cove: The Complete Series
Narration- Overall the narration was good. Bridget’s male voices in the beginning are a little lame. Ok, pretty damn lame but she gets better so stick with it.
It’s great that this is a complete series, because the first two books end with cliffhangers. There’s a good plot for the book and good twists. The first bit of the book seems more like a bully romance but it became a true romance with real love, and of course the happy ending. I think the premise of the book was really good and it would’ve been nice to have more detail. I enjoyed the story line I’m not big into teenage romances, but thankfully Riley turns 18 before anything crazy sexual happens. It is rated R for sure.
A little about why I review.
I am recovering from a brain injury that has caused difficulty for me in many areas including reading, or watching any type of screen. Audiobooks have become the only form of entertainment I can engage in. I started reviewing books in order for me to remember whether or not I should re-listen to a particular book. I fallen into that trap too many times. On average, I listen to approximately 250 hours of audiobooks or podcasts per month. I’m an easy-going person so, if I don’t like something it’s pretty rare. A bad narration is my sticking point though, I will disregard the best book if the narrator is terrible.

Good Story… really great performance
High school PRN reverse haram story with bullying the entire first book. It’s a fun take on a “mer-world”.

The reviews are questionable. DNF
I like a good RH story like many others but the fact that we were listening to a story about teens practically getting it on, a girl being seriously threatened by her love interests, them trying to pay someone to beat her up over her sperm donors bad decisions, etc! This just didn't scream 'enjoy this book please.' She clearly can't stick up for herself, all she had to say was whatever my donor did has nothing to do with me, furthermore probably close to 50% of the world's population hasn't met or know who their sire is so for him to guestion her like that is dumb. I'm getting a refund!

Vixen
Riley was faced with torture, betrayal and an adventure to learn who she is. This is a monumental undertaking for any 17 year old and I enjoyed her stumble through school and life. Great book

Okay I tried
Okay I tried with this book. I hated the male narrator for the boys voice. I’m going to ask for refund. It ruined the whole book for me. I loved her other starring her friend and wolf shifters. Which made me want to read this one because it referenced in the other book. But this one was horrible! I’m serious when I say terrible narration and the story. The plot has so much potential, but the teenage dialogue is terrible and detracts from the story.

Ok I liked the book until…
First off YA/ highschool age books aren’t normally my favorite books because they usually lack in certain areas. But I enjoyed this story it was different enough to keep me interested.
Love a why choose. The books felt rushed at the end. Just a bit until we get to the very end and it’s abrupt AF. Like seriously no epilogue nothing? I was hurt.
