loved it
Loved every second of it. each time I had to stop listening I couldn't wait to get back to it.
The narrator was very good, Carmen Rose is one of the few female narrators I like.
Will definitely listen to this book again.

Another laugh out loud story by Ms Dare
Prepare yourself to be thoroughly entertained by a grumpy duke who has lost his sight, an impoverished lady whose life will become her fairy tale and lots of hilarious and also hot moments that will make you smile.

Romancing the duke
There was nothing not to like in this really enjoyable audio .
The story is witty , romantic and very passionate , the characters are all just so entertaining they made me laugh out loud a few times and sigh at others .
The narration is excellent all part of the entertainment in this story I think .
I have listened to quite a few of Tessa,s audios and have never felt anything other than being entertained .

Most enjoyable…
This was my first book by this author but shall not be the last one -
Already downloaded book II in this series…
The story is interesting and has charm - and a great plot -
The reason why I only gave 4 out of 5 stars is that I find it tiresome to listen to endless intimate passages - as so many new authors seem to add to their stories…
I am not a prude but get bored by it!
The narrator did a fabulous job and as I said- the book is most enjoyable!

Immaculate mixture of romance, mature steam, and sweetness
First book from this author, but definitely not the last! It was charming and sweet at the end, but, breathy with anticipation at the beginning, and always intelligent and well written. Loved it!

Another entertaining read
I’m a bit of a Tessa Dare fan, her books are light, entertaining, sparkling and humorous. Everything I’m looking for in my fiction reading. This is another joyous beauty to suspend reality for.

Good Bones
Sex is the prevalent bases of the story and F**k is still the most popular word of this author. It seem the more carnal the words and sexual activities, the happy the author. It is a pity as the story has good bones, but is swallowed by the overactive sexal glands.

A well written, well narrated masterpiece
With one book, Tessa Dare takes everything we love about period romances to the next level. Her writing is on par with Julia Quinn and Mary Balogh, if not better. Rousing, entertaining and thoroughly engaging with believable characters and page turning imagery. Carmen Rose's voice is amazing and clear. BRILLIANT!

Meh!
I couldn't get into this audiobook as the plot appears good but the writing is pathetic. The references to fairy tales is irritating and ridiculous.
