A cross between St Trinians, Hammer Horror, with a dash of Lord of the Flies! Can’t get that school song out of my head.

We really loved this book, it is so much fun! It is really gripping and full of action and adventure and mayhem from start to finish!
It is also consistently funny and will make even adults laugh out loud. This book has a well constructed if fairly dark plot and interesting characters. Amazing how the author manages to weave horror with humour so cleverly.
The book is beautifully narrated, all the different accents (UK/South American/ Eastern European/ Asian) are spot on, as is the way the narrator switches his voice based on age and gender!
Also refreshing to find a teenage/YA novel that doesn't involve romance.
One of the best audio books we have listened to.

Fast Paced Action Packed Humorous Thriller!

A fun and utterly gripping story from start to finish! Excellent cast of characters brought to life faultlessly by the brilliant narrator. (I feel like I know them all personally, now!) The story got better and better as it went along, and I didn't want it to end. Fantastically dark and chilling in places; full of danger, daring and intrigue. Also managed to make me laugh out loud, feel sick, feel like clapping and whooping in turns. I've never experienced anything like it from one book! A glorious reading/listening experience from beginning to end, and I can't wait to get my 'ears' into the next one!
