About this listen

There’s an empire to topple, a tyrant to kill, and revenge to be had.

They’ve taken everything from him. Now Jerry and Chewy are headed to Niagara Falls to take out the wasteland’s greatest villain once and for all. But The Librarian isn’t the only one looking for revenge. Several other post-apocalyptic nomadic warriors have experienced Invcitus’ horrors firsthand and are in town to find vengeance. The Bookkeepers have lived under the tyrant’s iron fist for far too long. They’re well informed, organized, and ready to strike.

Mr. Christopher is heading back to town with one less hand and a whole new reason to kill The Librarian. Coy has been beaten, battered, and forced to eat his friend as bacon. And, now he’s looking to settle the score.

But, Invictus didn’t get to the top of the post-apocalyptic pecking order by being easy to kill.

Catch all the revenge, retribution, and comeuppance the wasteland has to offer in Revenge of the Apocalypse, the fourth book in the Duck & Cover Adventures.

It’s the end of the world as you've never known it.

The Librarian (Jerry) and Chewie meet there Destiny head in this final book of the series; extremely well read by Phil Thron, will Jerry and Chewie Return? Hopefully they will, continuing to bring sanity to the Post Apocalyptic landscape. Has some of the old world order survived to claim the world again, will the stories get a TV Deal???? When will the Post Apocalyptic Nomadic Warrior Return............

A truly Epic exercise in story telling

On the second listening this series has become one of my firm favourites and will definitely be played through again. I’ve even bought the paper books.

Phenomenal

The Liberian pulls another rabbit out of the preverbal hat in this fun post apocalyptic romp. If that even makes sense. Phil`s narration is spot on and the action is to. Loved this series. keep fighting for justice, sweet jumps and bacon.

Fun, Funny and just plain enjoyable to listen.

This series doesn't disappoint! Can't wait to read the next story. A unique take on the end of civilisation

Entertaining!

One of the most dramatic, funny and nail biting books I’ve listened to in ages. Every character was so well written and brought to life thanks to the excellent narration of Phil Thron.

Out of this world

Well read, post apocalyptic, hero disaster movie book screenplay! Bloody funny, and keeps a keen eye on what would really happen if the Chimps at the top press the big red button. This is real, ladies and gentlemen, this how it will really pan out!!!

Funny and Ironic!

This was a good conclusion to the story that's been built by the first three books. looking forward to the next book.

Great end to the journey so far

The culmination of the saga of the Librarian. Perhaps the greatest post apocalyptic nomadic warrior to have ever graced the wasteland (barring mad max of course).
There’s some satisfying payoff and character growth for returning characters and some interesting new ones who pop up. The other nomadic is warriors are particularly welcome additions though we have such short time with them it left me wanting to learn more about them. In fact I’d say the same for the previous story and think that the two could easily have been a single tale stretched out to fill more time with the other characters for the finale. It would also have also gone stronger with the revenge theme of this chapter.

All in all I’ve very much enjoyed this series even if the end didn’t quite live up to the rest of the series and it’s fully worth your time.

A fitting if rushed end

After a fairly ropey start to the series, book 4 is a good read.

The first three books having been a bit chaotic, in Book 4 the author settles down and writes a good story, concentrating on characters and plot rather than indulging himself with gimmicks and it works.

Finally gets into its stride...
