Summary

This seventh novel in the beloved Rosemont series finds Maggie Martin knee deep in intrigue.

The theft of rare books from Highpointe's collection, plus an attempted murder, and a fatal accident in its library are front-page news. Her board of trustees is looking for answers—and a scapegoat. Can she avoid being their target?

Sunday Sloan and Josh Newlon's love blossoms until the unexpected derails their happiness. Meanwhile, Cambridge University's rare book librarian travels to Westbury on business and ends up unraveling his own personal secrets.

A jeweled brooch discovered in Westbury Animal Hospital's lost and found causes a decades-old cold case to be reopened. Will it also allow David Wheeler to pursue his dreams?

Settle in as Maggie and the kind people of Westbury tackle every challenge.

Romance, intrigue,,, mystery adventure

Absolutely loved this book and the novella at the end, full of mystery and intrigue as all the characters life's are interwoven together and it is a great journey to see where they are going from here, cannot wait to meet Frank and Loretta 's twins and to see how David gets on at Guide College and how he will set up a learning programme in Westbury. It will be interesting to see how Judy and Geoff grow as well. Narration as ever was brilliant

I love this series…

…and it’s narration, too. There is something deeply comforting about Maggie, her family, her energy and her world. More and more!

Robotic Narration

The story might have been interesting but the robotic narration turned me off. I only made it through about 30 minutes. Deleting from my Library.

An absolute Gem

What can I say, If you have followed the Rosemont series you know how Ms Barb ends 1 story but follows in classic fashion to start at the moment and brings it all in with a fabulous bang... I am already on the edge of my seat with anticipation of Rosemont #8 & a dear followup for the Novella stoyline, There is ALOT more storyline for those character's. This is ALL A MUST READ!!! She never disappoints. I absolutely recommend this series, especially if your like me and feel like these characters are an extension of family. Absolutely remarkable and well written novels.
