About this listen
Restitution is taking the listener deeper into the rabbit hole where the stark difference between truth and obscurity is easily distinguishable. No longer are the investors waiting for a response from the Project: they're ordering it. The Investors are demanding proof that the hosts are viable, and have issued a directive to revive several test subjects and complete implantation. No longer are the Avengers waiting for some way out: they're demanding it. And unknown to Dr. A, her friend Dr. Januari Winters has a secret she's not willing to share. Her involvement with Jackson Stafford goes much deeper than a simple meeting in a treatment center in California many years ago. From the first book, Jackson has asked the questions: Why do the voices continue, and what is the truth? Why did these voices speak to him?
After 34 months and almost two million words, the closure to the series is in sight. He knew he wasn't hearing some strange human voice, it was something more sinister. Then, as time progressed, there were others. Ben's other's voices were being used to fulfill some hidden agenda Jackson knew nothing about. According to Ben, Jackson's inner-room friend, the voices were harmless, like puppets. But through the first 21 books, hidden secrets have been exposed. It was all a lie. Everything in Jackson's life was done for one thing, for him to become the Candidate for the Pandora Project's global conspiracy to convert the human race into nothing more than hosts.
The investor's money bought them the privilege of selecting one host after another to assure them eternal life in the face of sacrificing their fellow humans to an unseen enemy. But when it seemed clear that Ben was the instigator of the mass extinction, it all fell apart, and the truth surfaced.
What is truth? That is the universal question that the Jackson Stafford series has uncovered. Wow! Now we know!
The Jackson Stafford series continues to present a variety of different environments where the main character and the supporting characters see and experience unexpected paranormal creatures. One such encounter is where Jose and Sheymon, two bartenders, find themselves struggling to understand who their visitors are who cast no reflections. Glimmering in the smoke and mist filled rooms of the bar where they work, the Shadow People come to watch, to check in, and to see if the two people can see them.
There's four shadow people that the listener will discover. One in the Entity's Temple, one in Dr. Jennings’ home, and two in the Bar owed by La Tulipan. But what are they hunting for? We've all seen them from time-to-time if we've paid attention.
At this juncture, the President's personal secret service member is having concerns about the Investors and their meeting. He's been ordered to listen, but he's extremely distraught about the topic at hand. He is to listen and remain silent as he watched the scene unfold, explaining the eradication of a particular set of human beings.
His thoughts were many, but this summed them up: “For liberty was sought first by those running for tyranny, but now in one final blow, that which was sought after has been overtaken by the greed of man. The light of justice is doused by the flood of the imagination. Flights of fantasy, whimsical dreams of the impossible now rewrite volumes of illusions upon the hearts of once honorable men who now appear as ravenous dogs.”
