About this listen

As Christians, we believe that all sins are considered equal in God's eyes. Yet while evangelicals continue to decry the Big Ones - such as abortion, adultery, and violence - we often overlook more deceptive sins. It seems we have created a sliding scale where gossip, jealousy, and selfishness comfortably exist within the church. In short, some sins have simply become acceptable.

Acclaimed author Jerry Bridges believes that just as culture has lost the concept of sin, the church faces the same danger. Throughout, Jerry encourages victory over personal sin through the gospel's transforming power. This release is perfect for listeners who long to thoughtfully examine their lives and discover a deeper walk with God.

How did miss this???

Absolutely the best book I have ever heard addressing the area of sin. Even the voice of the reader definitely made me feel as though we both knew we can never ever be perfect but we can endeavour to follow who is.
If you thought what you were doing was NOT sinful...think again!! This author lists all obvious and never even thought of sins for you to think about! Can't understand how I miss seeing this book but so grateful since I heard it here I have purchased it! I was that impressed and humbled. I hope the author knows this sinner is happier for knowing how I can be a better child of God and a Christian when I seek to follow Christ in ALL my ways. In thought word and deed! Thank you sir!!!

Respectable Sinners exposed

Sin looked at through the eyes of truth when confronted by that which we deem
" respectable"
