Story
When the sisters go to the Canaan Valley to search for paintings mentioned in a document found in an old hotel once owned by their grandparents - paintings that might be Monets - Andrea immediately becomes involved in tracking down a murderer. Kathleen would much rather be looking for the paintings, but she goes along with Andrea, since the victim was their hotel-keeper, murdered just down the hall from their room. The question is: Does the murder have something to do with the elusive paintings?

Story
This is an audiobook of short stories of everyday human emotional experiences. Stories of profound loss, of great friendships, of growing old with a dog, of going to war, and of course, stories of deep romantic love. I hope the stories encourage the listener to do some introspection on what it means to be human. I believe the poems, like all art, will mean more to some than to others.

Summary
It’s been several years since Kyle Callahan sought the help of a New York City therapist to overcome the trauma of his encounter with a serial killer, and it's been just as long since his investigation into a teenage girl’s murder brought down the Manhattan district attorney. He and his husband, Danny Durban, have decided to move away, to start a new life in the idyllic river city of Lambertville, New Jersey. They have friends there. They’ll have peace and quiet. They can leave the hustle and bustle and stresses of America’s biggest metropolis behind.
They open a bed-and-breakfast, and soon discover that murder and mayhem are waiting to check in. There’s a writers conference in town, with big names and big egos heading for a clash - and a killing - of titans. No sooner has the ink dried on the guest registry than Kyle finds himself pursuing another murderer, this one closer to home than they’ve ever come. He enlists the help of his old friend and local resident Linda Sikorsky, once a detective on the New Hope, Pennsylvania, police force. The two of them follow one lead after another in a race against time until the shocking truth is exposed.

It's not Thi no dough.
I liked the story.
The narrator could use more depth. After hearing the name of Thibodeaux pronounced with 'th' endlessly, I switched to Kindle and read the rest of the story.
I am sure the narrator is a good guy, but maybe not for this book. Even Google pronounces Thibodaux as Ti-buh-dow.
