Story
This charming and wealthy playboy, who can't pay his bills on time or find his way to the grocery store (but we all have flaws, right?), is sweet. Confident. Playful. He's almost perfect. And, to make matters worse. He's smitten with me. I know what you're thinking. You're rolling your eyes. You're assuming this is some opposites attract situation - or that maybe we can be friends who turn into something more. How can this be a bad thing? Well, it's simple. I'm not the kind of girl you fall in love with.

How hard can it be? That was the question rolling around Larissa Mason’s mind just before she asked Hollis Hudson to be her fake boyfriend. It was only supposed to be for five minutes, after all. Granted, that was also before she felt his hand on the small of her back as he charmed the heck out of her family.

The first time I met Merrick Crawford was during my job interview. Well, technically, I’d met him 20 minutes earlier when he’d barged into a fitting room a few doors down from my appointment. I yelled. He yelled. After an argument while standing in my bra, I proceeded to smash the door into the gorgeous jerk, trying to yank it shut. As you might imagine, I was freaked out when I discovered that the rude guy was my potential new boss. Yet he didn’t seem to recognize me. Or so I thought.... Until we wound up bickering again during my interview and he told me to go sniff my armpit.

Summary
Coy Mason is a jerk.
If there is one truth that Bellamy Davenport knows, it’s that. Well, that, and the fact she didn’t mean to hurt him. Physically. Coy can’t be hurt emotionally because he doesn’t have a heart.
Coy is not just the small-town, literal boy next door. He’s a heartbreaking, womanizing, mischief-making (and delicious) man and was all of those things well before he became a hot-shot country music sensation.
He’s a dream standing in her doorway with no shirt, messy hair, and a “Do you wanna"? grin. But he’s also a nightmare for her heart, and she knows it.
Their enemies-to-lovers relationship always ends the same way - heavy on the enemies, light on the lovers.
So, why is she still standing there?
Author's Note: Reputation is a stand-alone novel with heat and heart. No cliff-hanger.

Wow those voices swoon worthy
I am a huge fan of Adriana Locke books, love to read them, but I was given a promo code for audio book.
Kai and Tor make this story come alive with their voices, I started the book on my way to work then I had to put my headphones in just cause I wanted to listen some more before I know it I Am driving home from work am on the last chapter and I am in love with Bellamy and Coy.
The story is a second chance romance Coy life brings him home so he can lay low while waiting for his new record deal to come through. While home he runs into childhood friend/the girl next door who wants nothing to do with him and Coy does not know why Bellamy is so mad at him. As Coy manipulates his way into her daily life can he repair their friendship and show Bellamy what she means to him.

The character study was compelling
I wasn’t overly sold on this story. Sure, there were elements I really enjoyed. Especially everything about Coy and his career, and the decisions he has to make. And Bellamy and the way she takes care of her father. But the relationship between Bellamy and Coy? I could barely see it.
They’re supposed to have a past together, but we merely have a glimpse of it. Then, the falling out, and the explanation didn’t stand for me. Finally, the hate changes back to love way too quickly. The romance part of the story didn’t do it for me at all, which is frustrating for a romance novel.
The character study was compelling though. I loved the relationships between the various characters–Bellamy and her father, Bellamy and Coy’s family, Coy and Bree, Coy and his own family… Even the hostile relationships, like between Coy and Meadow.
If the narration wasn’t bad per say, I didn’t enjoy it that much either. Maybe if I did, I’d have liked this book better. As it was, I didn’t hate it, but I definitely expected more.

Friends to enemies to lovers
I enjoyed this book and it’s characters. This book has lots of feels. One character is dealing with their dad having stage 4 cancer and how they don’t have any family as a support system. In my opinion there was more inner dialogue than I like, that being said it took me a bit to get into the book. The narration was great. I definitely recommend this book. 🎧Audiobook Obsession

Let's fall for the boy next door
Adriana Locke created such an amazingly sweet world in this book. Bellamy and Coy grew up next door to each other and used to be close until he moved to Nashville to become a singer.
Now he's back and she wants nothing to do with him but Coy is determined to get back in her good graces.
Bellamie is such a strong character and I love it, she is facing a difficult time in her life and yet still sees the good in the world.
Coy has been labeled as a bad boy and needs to clean up his image to keep his record deal before further damage is done by his "ex."
These two lean on each other and come out stronger on the other side for it.
Kai and Tor are the perfect match for Bellamy and Coy and now that I've heard them I can't get their voices out of my head when I read the other books.

I hate to love you
I was really looking forward to Coy and Bellamy's story. I knew it would be fantastic. This was a friends to enemies to lovers trope. There was an interesting backstory to go with the animosity. There was always an electric charge whenever they were in a room together, so why weren't they together. Now you can find out. I really enjoyed going along for the ride. The author always does such a great job with writing sibling interaction and banter between characters. Bell's dad was great secondary character in this one. The audio was great.

Great story and narration
I was excited to dive in to Reputation by Adriana Locke as I love her writing. From start to finish I was riveted and had a hard time putting this book down when real life got in the way.
Reputation was well written and full of love, romance, laughter and is a second chance, friends to enemies to lovers story about Coy Mason and Bellamy Davenport. I really liked Coy and Bellamy, both separately and together. From the first chapter to the last, I was absolutely hooked by the story that Adriana Locke wove.
Returning home Coy struggles to work out how he can capture Bellamy’s heart again having loved and left her to pursue his dreams. I love small town romances and when you add in characters like Coy and Bellamy it is a joy to read. I loved how swoon worthy Coy was, he ticked all the boxes for me and I loved the funny, smart and sassy Bellamy which made for an entertaining read.
All the characters were easy to relate to and I cannot wait to read more in the series. The narration by Tor Thom and Kai Kennicott did justice to the characters and brought the story to life for me.

Enjoyable story
Bellamy and Coy story was cute. Adrianna Locke did a really good job with telling their story.
I would suggest to read Adrianna Locke book The relationship pack. It's a part of kings of football series. There are three different authors, the books are stand alone. One of the other authors I read a lot. This was my first Adrianna Locke book. Larrisa Mason was the main female character, the Mason family was introduced. You met Coy and Bellamy in this book.
I checked to see if Adrianna Locke, did a book about them. She is doing a series about the Mason family sons. Glad I checked, I enjoyed this book.

Love the Mason family series
I love Adriana Locke's family-based series, and so far, the Mason Family is living up to my high expectations. Coy and Bellamy's nextdoor neighbors, enemies-to-lovers romance was simply perfect.
Coy is cocky and self-assured, but he is also a loving, genuine guy with a kind soul and big heart. Bellamy doesn't stand a chance, frankly. She's been through enough heartbreak, though, and the last thing she needs is another dose thanks to coy.
Once Coy and Bellamy figure out why he rankles her ire, the hate and loathing was transformed into simply sizzling chemistry and raw emotions. Through in witty dialogue and banter for days, and the hijinks of the extended Mason clan, and Reputation delivers on the romance, emotion and humor.
The audio, narrated by Kai Kennicott and Thor Tom, as well-delivered and a treat to listen to.

The perfect boy next door
This story had so many facets, it was friends to lovers and enemies to lover at the same time. Bellamy and Coy grew up together and were best friends for so long before Bellamy couldn't stand the thought of Coy. Coy moved away and became famous, but when he comes home after a career issue, the girl next door is all he can think of.
Bellamy is strong and builds a wall around herself because she shows the world how OK she is when inside she is drowning. She lost her mom and is taking care of her dad as he goes through cancer treatments. She needs someone and when Coy returns to town she doesn't want to need him, but she does.
Coy is the golden boy next door who made it big and now is home and is ready to win Bellamy's heart. He figured out how to show his love and not just tell her.
This story had me in tears. As someone who has watched loved ones battle cancer and lose, this story struck a chord with me and I felt such a strong connection with Bellamy. It was well written and I loved these characters.
The narrators did a great job bringing this story to life. I wanted to keep driving to keep listening.

Reputation
Reputation is the second book in the Mason Family series. This book is told from dual points of view from Coy Mason and Bellamy Davenport.
Coy and Bellamy were best friends and next door neighbors in a small town growing up. Coy and Bellamy had feelings for each other, but then he left for Nashville to be a Country Music star. Something happened to Bellamy and when she needed Coy he ignored her. So she decided she hated him.
Now Coy is home trying to stay out of the tabloids due to something his publicist did. He's trying to figure out what to do next with his music career. When Bellamy shows up at his door to see his mom. They would banter and bicker at first, but then feelings came back into play.
Can Bellamy learn to give her heart back to Coy? Can Coy be there for Bellamy when she needs him? Can Coy save his reputation from the Tabloids? What will happen when he has to go back to Nashville for his career.
This book was amazing and I could not put it down. It was great to see Holt (his brother) and Blaire from the first book in the series. As well as Larissa and Hollis from The Relationship Pact book. I can't wait for Boone's story next! This series as well as every Adriana Locke book I've read has been a great read!
I loved the narrators as well. They really brought the book to life!

Even better on audio
I read this as an ebook and loved it, but I was gifted a code for the audiobook from the author and it was even better the second time. I love the Mason family and Bellamy's relationship with Coy get's better every time you experience it. The dual narration is awesome. Both narrators do a great job bringing these characters to life, which is really important as their banter and interaction is so key to the book.
I first met Coy and Bellamy in The Relationship Pact, and while their interaction in that book was short, it was enough to pull you into their story and want to know what happened between. The snark was on another level. This book starts out that way with the snark level through the roof, and the banter between Coy and Bellamy is great! Coy, a famous country western singer, is home hiding out after a PR disaster and is trying to figure out what he wants to do next with his life and career. Bellamy is the girl next door and used to be one of his best friends. At some point they were more, but something happened and now she hates him and he isn't quite sure why. When Bellamy's charge Bree literally throws a curveball into Coy's face, the two are forced to spend some time together when Coy offers to teach the little girl how to pitch and play piano. Bellamy is not happy about the situation but when forced to choose between her nanny job and allowing Bree to spend a few hours with Coy she caves.
This is a story about misunderstandings, grief, emotion, love and so much more. Bellamy and Coy used to be best friends and more, but neither of them is very good about communicating what they want or how they feel, especially when it comes to each other. They have some unresolved baggage from their past that has caused quite the rift in their relationship. Unfortunately, they both have a lot going on in their lives at the moment and despite the fact that they love each other, they aren't quite sure how to make it work when they need to be in two different places. Fortunately for both of them, they have a strong support system and get some pretty great advice from their friends and family. This just proves that good communication and understanding what your partner needs is so important in a relationship.
I loved the characters in this. Because they had been friends for so long before hand we bypass the instalove and settle in to an easy going banter session full of memories and feelings. The Mason family is awesome and I can't wait to get to know all of them.
