Summary

Lexi wakes up in a hospital bed after a car accident, thinking it's 2004 and she's a 25-year old with crooked teeth and a disastrous love life. But, to her disbelief, she learns it's actually 2007 - and she's 28, her teeth are straight, she's the boss of her department, and she's married! To a good-looking millionaire! How on earth did she land the dream life??! She can't believe her luck, especially when she sees her stunning new home. She's sure she'll have a fantastic marriage once she gets to know her husband again. He's drawn up a "manual of our marriage", which should help.

But as she learns more about her new self, chinks start to appear in the perfect life. All her old colleagues hate her. A rival is after her job. Then a dishevelled, sexy guy turns up...and lands a new bombshell. What happened to her? Will she ever remember? And what will happen if she does?

Abridged

Doesn’t actually mention its abridged when downloading. Narrator sounds like a newsreader unfortunately. Glad I can return this.

Too short and reader sounded bored

Way to quick big chunks left out. Was just getting used to the dry disinterested reader

Should tell you it's the abridged version

Nothing in the info makes it clear, which is disappointing. otherwise good performance and quality.

Where’s the rest of it?

Usually an audiobook will last me numerous long driving journeys but this didn’t even last one. It did not state that it was abridged when purchasing - I only ever usually buy unabridged versions because if I’m buying a book I want all of it, not just the bits someone thinks are best. Liked the narrator and the story is good but I can’t give this a better rating because I feel ripped off and loads of the story is missing. I have all of SK’s other audiobooks and they are not abridged so I have no idea why someone thought it was a good idea to shred this one. Please re record this in full!

super

This is a really super Kinsella story, I read the shopaholic books before I found her other stories but this is my favourite so far. Great narration too.
