Thought-provoking
Thought-provoking, interesting approach. I enjoyed listening to this. I am not sure I agree with all claims, but this is a fascinating audiobook.

Didn't finish.
Struggled to listen because of the baby voice used by the narrator when speaking as the child. I found it really irritating and grating.

Highly Recommend
This book has really helped me to understand the concept of the inner child and the exercises have enabled me to awaken her and understand how she affects my life today. I have been looking into this subject for some time, it has felt alien until I read this. I enjoyed this book so much I bought the paper back and have recommended it to other friends who are counsellors and they are using it in their practice.

excellent
this book was read exceptionally well for starters. the book was inspiring, interesting and reflective. I understood everything LC said and felt that the whole premise was incredibly useful. I am a psychotherapist by profession but also a person who does a lot of inner work and each thing described in this book will complement beautifully my practices. I wanted to listen to the book entirely first before doing any exercises so next I will go through and do each applicable one, which I very much look forward to. Thank you to LC

Finding yourself
Lucia peels back the layers of conditioning and hurt to reveal our true selves. By guiding us to meet our lost abandoned neglected frightened hurt child, she invites us to heal, breathing life and colour and delight into our next steps.

Not what I was looking for
I didn’t appreciate the religious connotations, child imitations and seemingly baseless statements. I find the subconscious and inner child an interesting topic, but I was unfortunately put off from finishing the book for these reasons.
