Love this Series

I’m enjoying this series. I love the narrator and the stories are just so good! I laugh out loud every time. I love the the main character, Kasey, is so relatable! You root for her! I cannot wait to read the next one!

Cozy mystery

This was a cute short little cozy mystery. The storyline was simple but interesting. It made me smile and was a fun weekend listen.

Loved it!

I keep loving this series, and this was the best book so far.

Kacey is working undercover on a set, and being back on one brings her doubts about her choices. Is she really willing to leave her aspirations of being an actress behind? Maybe she could try again...

As always, the plot is really well done, and the characters, new and old, are delightful.

And, as it is usual, Marie Hoffman does a superb job with her narration :D

Great Read

Ready on Set Drama (Brooker Brothers Detective Agency #3) was a great read by Maisie Dean. Kacey is now working undercover as a personal assistant to an actor. Kacey must find out who is trying to destroy his career. I really enjoyed reading Kacey and the brothers trying to figure out who the culprit is. I can’t wait to read more by Maisie Dean.

Marie Hoffman once again brings the characters the life and makes it entertaining as well!

PERFECT TIMING

READY ON SET DRAMA is the third book in the Booker Brothers Detective Agency series. Though each will stand on their own, it is best to read them all and in the order of release

This is the perfect timing for this story in the series. Kacey is faced with her former life as an actress while investigating her newest assignment. She is established as a PI, but starting to feel a longing to return to return to the limelight. The push and pull can be strong.

How about this for a twist in a cozy mystery? There is no body. Nobody died! Instead, this is a straight up investigative job for Kacey on the studio set of a pilot episode of a new show. This story was more about the psychology of sabotage for their client and Kacey’s decision to stay with the firm or return to acting.

I love this series and I’m enjoying every episode. The first paragraph, it was hinted that Kacey will eventually be romantically connected with one of the Booker Brothers. Three books in and we don’t know which one yet. I love the anticipation!

Narration: The narrator is Marie Hoffman and she is one of my favorites. Her voice continues to delight as she provides a perfect reading experience.

Favorite New Series!

So I have read and loved the first two books in the series and this one didn't disappoint me! Kacey is such a fun character I find myself totally engrossed in her story and laughing throughout. It a book you can do in a day or two which is perfect, but now I am definitely looking forward to book 4. The narration is a lot of fun to listen to, Marie Hoffman does a fantastic job. If you are looking for a cleaner version of Janet Evanovich's books then this series it!

Quite short but definitely entertaining...

I haven't read nor listened to the firt two books in the series, but it wasn't necessary to quickly get acquainted with the main character and realize all the circumstances of her employment at the Booker Brothers Detective Agency. It's a fast listen, and even though it's not a murder case this time it's still intriguing and quite fast-paced.

The main character, an ex-actress Kacey Chance, gets assigned to a Hollywood case and suddenly her earlier dreams come back to her in the worst possible moments, even to the point of messing with her investigation which doesn't go as smoothly and as quickly as she would like it to. As a detective, she has good instincts and judges people quite well, as a character she's likeable and funny, so it's great entertainment to follow her following leads:) And even though I guessed quite early who the culprit was, I still found the story interesting and engaging.

Narration by Ms Hoffman is very good, with nice voice differentiation and quite a good pace of her reading. It's an enjoyable interpretation of the book

Kacey and the boys at it again!

Kacey is undercover for this case and its right up her alley! Kacey is undercover as a PA to an up and coming actor on a new series in Hollywood. The actor, an attractive Brit, hired the Booker Bros to figure out who it trying to ruin his career. Things get interesting and as always Kacey steps in it!
