Joshua Ravensong is a character from ML Hamilton's Peyton Brooks' series. To be honest, I was told that this book was written after the book in the series (I can just imagine that Ravensong demanded his own story). But chronologically this book comes before the events in the Peyton Brooks' series so I heard this first. And I simply adore Ravensong as a character. I just want to hug him.

This book could possibly be described as a romance with a suspenseful flair. However, it feels like a whole lot more. It has been so delicately constructed. The story involves drug addiction, abuse and single-minded greed but also the very best of family, community and love. Ravensong could have appeared as a tragic character but ML Hamilton has somehow balanced his strength with his vulnerable. The author had been ruthlessly honest about the dark side of the entertainment industry but also softens the blow with meaningful characters and relationships.

And the result is fantastic. Another ML Hamilton creation and Kelley Hazen performance that I just could not stop listening to. This is an author-narrator combination you just cannot go wrong with!

Another fantastic book by M.L.Hamilton the storyline about Josh his battle with drugs, life and love I was unable to stop listening I am looking forward to further publications and of course Kelly Hazen narrator give her an award perfection.
