Summary

Bryce Simpson did the only thing he could. He spurned Marjorie Steel. Even though he’ll be living on her ranch, he is determined to stay away from her. She’s worthy of more than he can even think about giving, especially now that long-buried memories are surfacing and he’s learning that his father’s sins may go even deeper than he imagined.

Bryce’s rejection destroys Marjorie, and she descends to a dark place she thought she’d abandoned forever. She emerges stronger, though, and is determined not to let heartbreak rule her life. Change is the answer, she’s sure, so she makes plans - plans that include a handsome personal trainer she meets at the gym.

When Bryce and Marjorie are thrown together, though, their ravenous hunger for each other takes over, leaving both of them more vulnerable than they realize.

Excellent

Another thrilling installment of The Steele Saga! There's always twists and turns in this story that spans the entire series & this one left us with the ultimate cliffhanger. As always these performers were excellent.

Ok look...

I can't say anything bad about this story or the series except for the fact that I am tired of these cliffhangers!! I've invested my time in 11 books and this next one better be the last lol. I want this thing wrapped in a beautiful bow with all of the loose ends neatly tied because I cant take much more. Seriously, kudos to the author for being the queen of the cliffhanger. Great story #CantWaitToSeeHowItAllENDS

Exasperating

I’m so disappointed and extremely frustrated with these 2 characters Marjorie and Bryce. At 38 years old Bryce as written in this story is so immature it’s maddening. And the writer’s frequent repetition in the story about Bryce’s angst about his father’s mustang, Marjorie’s childhood bedroom, repeat, repeat, repeat. ENOUGH! The narrators’ voices were all ingratiating. If I finish this series, I’ll do it without audible’s narration.

Good book

I love the series but the narrator for the man drives me CRAZY!! He talks way to fast. It doesn’t sound like a normal person talking. It’s like he is speeding through his lines. Either have him slow down or use someone else please

hmmm

I love Bryce and Marjorie, I was happy they eventually started to get their crap together. but this book really irked my nerves everything seemed to drag no questions were answered. I found myself screaming at my phone Everytime somebody interrupted one of the other characters when they were in the middle of talking. I swear all the cryptic half statements really irritated me. I really hope the next book has answers I'm sick of the round about cliff hangers.

Just Say It Why Don't You

Decent listen, but more of the, the characters about to tell something important, but they star talking about off the wall stuff. Come on, that just makes me forward past that part, which is a waste. And also, we know how the friends know each other, we heard it in the previous listen, so who go through in EVERY book?
Geesh!

Terrible narration

This was like listening to an episode of Dragnet. Ended up reading the rest of the book after about 6 chapters.

very compelling

this author is one of the best to keep you wanting to find out more about everyone in the stories to keep on purchasing more books! This last book I was very disappointed in the narrators. The male sounded nasal, kind of killed the narration.

OMG!!!! Marjorie!!!!!!!

I did not mentioned in Breathless that this is my first time listening to this narrators and I’m loving them.

The emotions they put into the characters is like I’m there with them!
