Lovely Book
I'm so glad I took the time to listen to this. I hope I come back to it over and over as my daughter grows up. Full of helpful, emotionally and eye opening information for parents of girls.

Absolutely brilliant
This book, as a female reader and parent, was spot on for me. It made me think about opportunities for my two, young girls as well as thinking about the other female adolescents around me and even made me reflect on my own childhood. I’m sure I’ll come back to this book in the challenging years to come to centre me when things get tough!

you learn a lot.
very helpful and clear teaching to help parents raising their daughter. the author helps you to understand how to navigate from birth to adulthood in a girl s life. how to react, what is behind a certain type of behaviour, how to handle situation and why she is reacting this way for instance... for me it is a wake call to understand what is going on in her little brain. what ever age is your daughter I really thing this book can be helpful.

Insightful and eye opening
I really enjoyed this book it’s was a lot more insightful than I expected, touching on difficult topics and a great view point. Would recommend to parents who want reality served straight up!

A valuable reference for every parent
Excellent! Common sense really (not so common). Told from a very practical and humble perspective. As a Muslim, I don't agree with everything, but says >95% agreement is not bad at all. A lot of the things we mostly do, but the author tells us how to be more deliberate, how to have the most impact to enjoy our daughters (and vice versa) as fully as possible. I'm off to read the boys version.

What's your role as a parent?
Something I've thought about a lot. Steven gives some good tips but actually I was expecting a more academic book. As a result I found it too soft and emotional. I'm putting this down to me not the book, it is worth a listen to. If you agree I might recommend you listen to 'Brain rules for baby' by John Medina
