Protecting His Omega by Giovanna Reaves. This story develops nicely. A good combination of world building and character development. If you like M/Preg this is the story for you.
The Narrator John Solo did a fantastic job bringing these characters and story to life.

Sweet mates and finding family story
This was narrated by John Solo who is one of my favourite narrators, so I jumped at the chance of a review promo code for this book. I very much enjoyed this sweet tale of an Omega who runs a successful company after losing his Alpha who bequeathed the company to him, but when he is threatened to the point that a bodyguard becomes necessary for his own safety as well as that of his daughter, he finds a new Alpha where he combines work and love. I love whodunnits and this was a fun read with plenty of great characters as Lucien and Phoenix work together to figure out who is truly behind the threats. There's even a twin brother in there, and I didn't expect the twist that came. Highly recommended for all lovers of bodyguards and Alpha/Omega love stories with a splash of MPreg thrown in for good measure.

This is really good!
This is my first non-shifter, mpreg stories and a good one to get started with!
Phoenix was kicked out of his home at 16 because he was an omega and gay. After being taken in by Maxwell, a rich businessman (father/son relationship), Phoenix thrives and eventually takes over Maxwell’s business when he dies. Phoenix was mated once and has a little girl, Jasmine from the relationship.
Not everyone at Phoenix’s company is happy that he is the new owner, so when he starts receiving threatening letters Phoenix is forced to contact a private security company which is how he meets Lucius, his mate.
What I liked about the story is that Phoenix is not a typical omega – yes, he knows he will submit to his alpha’s will – but he has a backbone and wouldn’t give in to the natural instinct to rollover for his alpha mate. Lucius is a patient alpha, who wants to care for his omega. There is a lot of sexual tension between the 2 men before they finally get together – mid book- but it’s worth the wait! Both men were a delight to read and Jasmine was realistically cute.
There is a surprise twist towards the end that also adds to the story (quite unique).
John Solo does a really good job with the characters :) It was a pleasure to listen to him bring the story to life. He made Lucius sound like a strong, alpha male and Phoenix sound like a strong (with a hint of vulnerability), doting father.
I recommend this audio unreservedly, especially to those on the fence about mpreg!

Loved it
I really enjoyed this audiobook.
It was a great story brought to life by great narration.

Enjoyed
I really enjoyed listening to this book as Phoenix meets Lucius after he needs a bodyguard for getting threats and having a stalker. As Lucius does his investigation tho gs get interesting and the person behind it all is really surprising especially the reasoning
