About this listen
For PI Franki Amato, New Orleans is anything but The Big Easy. Her best friend and employer has assigned her an unsettling investigation - the murder of a gorgeous cosmetics CEO at an allegedly haunted plantation. Adding to Franki’s stress, her meddling Sicilian nonna is planning her engagement even though her boyfriend, Bradley, hasn’t popped the question, and his new secretary seems determined to ensure a proposal never happens. As Bradley grows distant and the plantation grows dangerous, Franki turns to a psychic who is deathly afraid of ghosts. But her relationship is the least of her worries. She has to figure out what pink lip gloss, pirates, and a legendary diamond have to do with the bizarre homicide before she, too, drops dead like a Southern belle during a sweltering summer.

Fab!
What other book might you compare Prosecco Pink to, and why?
It's a bit Stephanie Plum-esque, if you like that kind of book, you're sure to like this too!
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It kade me laugh out loud in places, giggle in others!

Prosecco Pink
Prosecco Pink is the second book in the Frankie Amato series but it works fine as a standalone.
Business is doing great at Private Chicks Detective Agency and Frankie has been assigned her own case. She has been hired to investigate a mysterious death at a nearby plantation, and so begins a series of mysterious and weird goings on.
I'm a sucker for a cozy mystery and absolutely loved this, it had everything I want from one. The humour is an important part for me and it had some great humourous bits in it, with strong characters who really come alive. I'll definitely be going back to the beginning of the series and starting from there. Easy listening with some mystery! Loved it!! 5* from me!

Good!
What did you like most about Prosecco Pink?
I loved the humour and the adventure. Franki gets into one scrape after another.
I didn't really like how man obsessed she was and I felt that she should have dumped the boyfriend at the end of the story and make him spend the next two books in the series grovelling for forgiveness!
