Jason Clarke’s voice made me melt

Jason and Rose are the perfect Brax and Landyn! Their voices bring one of my all time favourite stories to life like no other. Possession is Brynne Asher at her absolute best. Book one in the Agents series has left me with an unquenchable thirst for more and the book hangover to end all book hangovers. Book one’s just been released on Audio and I’m already desperate for the rest of the series.

Dark, dangerous, cold and calculated with the looks of a GQ Model to boot, Boz Torres is second in charge of the Marino cartel, until wedding day disaster leaves him having to step up, take over as head and marry a reluctant bride in a bloody wedding dress. A woman who was sold to the cartel by her father as payment for a debt. A wife he doesn’t want or need, but one he’ll protect at all costs, even if that means paying with his own life, his new possession.

Landyn Alba is having the worst day of her life and it’s her wedding day. Sold by her father to pay off his debt to a man with a reputation for being cruel and sadistic to women, she’s the most sought after possession in the filthy underworld. As she’s forced to walk down the aisle, still looking for escape, her prayers are answered when her groom to be is killed in front of her, but this is the cartel, once you’re in, there’s no way out, the second in charge steps up and she becomes his instead. Lucky for Landyn, Boz Torres isn’t who he appears to be, he has a job to do, he’s worked hard to get to this position, he’s on a time crunch to get the information he needs and he’s certainly not interested in a wife getting in the way.

I literally could not stop listening! Possession has everything I love from The Killers Series (including cameos from some of our favourite characters) deliciously mixed with a twisty, dark intensity of Deathly. Jason Clarke voices Brax Cruz and is hot as hades with a possessive intensity, I’d pay to have shining on me! He’s book boyfriend material at it’s finest, and one that going to be hard to beat. Characters new and old made this my new favourite story from one of my favourite authors!

5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ for choice of narrators, story, characters, humour and intensity and 5 flames 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 for the heat, with Brax and Landyn burning up my speakers!

Get this possession of a great listen

Possession by Brynne Asher is book 1 in a new series . Book one in the new Agents series , it’s a mixture of mafia , CIA and DEA .

Heroine is Landyn & hero is Brax . They both met in an unusual circumstance but that didn't stop Brax from protecting her . Landyn father has a deal with the Mexican Cartel. He gives Landyn , his daughter, to the Cartel for marriage. That’s when Brax ( not his real name) takes one look at her and knows he has to save her .
The thing with Brax is for 2 years he’s been undercover to bring down down the Cartel and everyone that works with them . The story had so many twists, mystery and lots of action. . Brax has a big heart , he seems a young man , Rocco , that he wants to save from that life . One big shock is when Landyn mother throws a big terrible tell about Brax brother and her father
Along the way Brax and Landyn start to grow feelings for each other. Grab it and see does Brax bring down the Cartel. How does the feelings for both Brax and Landyn grow.

You couldn’t get better performers for this story. Both Jason Clarke and Rose Dioro nailed the story. They played all the characters perfectly, their voices drew you in. , very smooth, and growling when it needed it , clear and great.

Soooo goood!!!!

This is one of the best books I’ve listened to. I couldn’t stop listening. I had to stop what I was doing at times to concentrate on the book. Jason and Rose were amazing!!! I so wish this would be made into a film.
I was so on the edge of my seat the whole way through.
This was my first Brynne Asher book but it certainly won’t be my last. Can not recommend this book enough!!!

Hook from start to finish

I am a huge fan of Brynne Asher’s beautifully crafted books. Brynne has excelled with Possession, weaving an action packed story filled with emotion, heat and intrigue. This book kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Rose Dioro and Jason Clarke masterfully brought the story alive, skilfully capturing the character’s nuances with their expert narration. Highly recommend this audio book.

Amazing book

Every time this author releases a new book I get so excited as I know whatever it is it will keep me hooked from the first page to the last. This book was no different.
To say the book started with a bang is an understatement. So much happens it’s hard to get your heart rate under control. Landyn and Brax were a compelling couple. Their chemistry was off the charts hot and steamy. The premise of the book is a favourite of mine arranged marriage, cartel, danger, drugs and of course hot and steamy. Not only were the main characters relatable and had that connection that you crave in your H and h but the side characters were equally as likeable. I’m hoping we get to see more in future books. Outstanding book. I cannot wait to see where we go from here.
The audible narration was exceptional. It totally enhanced the experience and my enjoyment of the book.

Fast and furious
