Summary
I wish more of the nudges that shaped history were the gentle kind—the signing of a treaty, the commitment to protect the weak, the spreading of a story that would enlighten minds.
Alas, humans are more prone to stagnate than to change willingly, and so most nudges are given with force and terror and blood.
Most nudges come at the slicing of a blade or the searing of a flame. The final chapters of Sable’s beginning certainly did. More blades than I hope to see again, and the fire…who could ever forget the fire?

To be read and listened to again and again
I loved this so much when I read the set I then listened to it on audible and found bits I thought I had read but hadn't picked up but gave more depth of understanding to the story. Apart from the obvious excellent story and characters listening to it read by such a good reader as Kate Reading gave the characters a new dimension and the philosophical discussion going on under neath is well informed with good debate on both sides. Thank you to all concerned in the production.

Great fantasy book
Such a great and interesting story with classic fantasy set up. Yes it might be predictable sometimes and you know how it ends before it begins, but when there needs to be a plot twist author succeeds to surprise the reader!

A spectacular Trilogy of Books which can take their place alongside the greatest Fantasy Fiction of all time. I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m crying because I’ve finished them.

brilliant
absolutely loved the series of book but especially this one,brilliantly written with great characters.
Great story brought to a very satisfying end my only regret is iv finished them and I didn't want them to end.

just fantastic.
JA Andrews does it again. I just love her writing. Kate Reading does a stellar job of story telling and portraying character voices and personalities. I have loved JA Andrews since stumbling across The Keeper Chronicles. This prequel series has been fantastic. I listened to it daily and I'm so sad I've finished them. These are some of my new favourite books.

Concluding the Brilliant Trilogy
Sad to have come to the end of Sable’s story. So enjoy JA Andrews books. The characters are so detailed and the story flows wonderfully. Kate Reading is an excellent narrator - she brings the story to life. You should definitely buy it!
