Really enjoyed this one - the characters were so real - but they changed from goodies to baddies and visa versa taking my sympathies or otherwise along with them. One of the best audio books I have listened to.

Great book, interesting storyline, good narration, however I think the narrator for Darcy's part should have been younger seeing as Darcy was only 16. Didnt spoil it though.
Loved the character Liz. Even though she wasn't the main character, she was my favourite.
Great book, I've enjoyed all of Claudia Carroll's books, especially the Primrose Square ones. I hope he writes more of those.

Good idea for a story but under developed over explained and too much detail of what people are doing or eating or seeing - irrelevant details. Also characters oversimplified. Villain and victim with no subtlety. I really wish I could find some intelligent fiction that is fun to listen to.

Overexplaining to pad things out

An interesting story spoilt by the overuse of several words .., “ excuse me “ Was said too often by two separate people .
Beyond was another one , everyone was ‘beyond ‘ something ... . Once I noticed it , it spoilt my listening as I was listening out for it .
Hearts were thumping out of chests all the time so yeh ...

One part I didn’t like .. No-one would ever have let someone stay a minute longer in their house after doing what she did to her child ..
only 3 stars which are for the story .
