predictable but good
6/10 This was a very to-the-point story which i liked, but there was a fair bit of repetition and the reveal wasn’t very spectacular or unexpected.

Kept me guessing
I enjoyed this book. very easy to get to know the characters and I guessed anyone of them couldve been the guilty party. I wasn't sure right till the very end so it kept my interest and I would recommend it to anyone.

Poor ending
Without giving away the ending, I feel cheated of a twist! Very poorly thought out and lacked a real reason for the killer to murder.
Yes, it keeps you guessing but not a lot.

A very unhappy family indeed!
This was my first listen/read by this author and won't be my last. The Mercers are certainly not a happy family, but they are rich, and when the parents are brutally killed their grown up children, amongst other, are all suspects.
This is definitely one of those books that you can't stop listening to. I loved the short, snappy chapters that left you wanting more. The author drops tasty little morsels throughout the book to get you thinking and wondering. Most of the characters are extremely unlikeable, but well drawn and I suspected all of them at some point! This was a quick listen that kept me engaged and I'll be listening to more by this author.

Great!
This was good. Easy to listen to. You want to keep picking it up it’s fast paced and captivating. I got through it quickly because I wanted to know what was going to happen next!!
