Superb short story

Fantastically read. Absolutely loved this short story. Full of pathos throughout. Rosie Jones needs to take a lot of credit for the way she reads this. I felt engaged throughout and didn’t want to stop listening. Brilliant but need to have an idea of the other stories.

The surprise ending

Although a short story, it's a great introduction to the Helen Grace books, written by
M J Arlidge and a very good narration!

Good to get the background of DCI Helen Grace

From reading all of the books in the series, you pretty much guess her history. However it's give a better insight to her personality.

Meeting Helen Grace

The story of Helen Grace and her tough start in life. It's great to finally see where she started from. Good narration too.

Disappointed

I was very disappointed with this audiobook I was expecting another full novel, the same as the others and it was a very short story, a real waste of a credit with my membership, not happy or pleased.

Not good value for money

Most books in this series are around 9 hours long, but this is not much more than an hour long yet costs the same. I felt like I had to buy it before moving on to the next full length book else there might be a gap in the story

Overall it just felt like cashing in.
