Summary
Mark Taylor discovers first hand that no good deed goes unpunished when the old camera he found during a freelance job in an Afghanistan bazaar gives him more than great photos. It triggers dreams of disasters. Tragedies that happen exactly as he envisions them. He learns that not only can he see the future, he can change it. Then the unthinkable happened and everyone ignored his frantic warnings. Thousands die. Suddenly, the Feds are pounding on his door and the name they have for Taylor isn't urban hero. It's enemy combatant. And, it means they can do anything they want to him. Anything at all.

Long lead up but good story
Enjoyed the book greatly but thought the really long lead up to the ‘ability’ the character demonstrates was too long. Having said that I’m hoping the next book doesn’t labour the preamble too much as it’s a good story hence 5 stars across the board.

Hard to stop listening!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, once the story is wonderfully set in your mind; it is hard to stop at just the next chapter.
What was one of the most memorable moments of No Good Deed?
when the protagonist is given the chance to write down what will happen to him if no one stops the interrogator.
What does Daniel Penz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His ability to differentiate the characters. The ease of which he would switch from one to the other; I haven't experienced the range of pitch, tones and amplitude as I did with this book read.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When the protagonist was given a second chance.
Any additional comments?
I enjoyed the writing style and how the narrator was able to project the story.

No Good Deed
This was a good book, once you get past the torture.Described in every little detail I found it a bit much. While I enjoy Daniel Pentz narration,I was put off by the extra drama thrown into this book. The sudden shouting came across way too loud after an even keel for so long. The storyline.A camera shows pictures of the future to 1 man and no one believes him.Mr Taylor is tossed in the brig and held without charges or trial after predicting 9/11.I am anticipating the series.Hopefully Mr Taylor is calmed down through the rest.
This audiobook was provided to me at no cost for a fair and honest review

No Good Deed should not go Unread!
If you could sum up No Good Deed in three words, what would they be?
Suspenseful, Frightening, and Entertaining
What was one of the most memorable moments of No Good Deed?
The torture scenes were remarkably vivid
Which scene was your favorite?
I liked it when the two parts of the story joined as one.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The CIA Torture scenes were believeable and scary as hell. Daniel Penz's performance brought each character to life in a vivid way.
Any additional comments?
The gimmick (no spolier alert here) was trite at first, but it grew on me until I was really happy for it. Again, I cannot say enough about Mr. Penz's performance. He is a remarkably talented performer
