Naughty and Nice by Mari Carr is a one-night stand enemies to lovers holiday romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Marina Barrett and Theo Sinclair.

I really enjoyed the chemistry between Matt and Liza. I liked that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Tempted and Taken to be released on January 9, 2024, so I can get more of Matt and Liza's story.

Marina and Theo did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a one-night stand romance, enemies to lovers romance, holiday romance, or contemporary romance.

I really enjoyed the dynamic of this couple. I felt that just as the story was starting it finished a bit abruptly. The characters are well written and they have so much potential. I’m looking forward to seeing where the story goes.

LIza and Matt seem to be sworn enemies thanks to their grandfathers. Things start to change when Matt steps in when Liza's date is being rude and not very nice. Matt's date was pushing more from him and he didnt want that. As Matt and Liza spend one night together, all things start to change. Feelings come to light. this is a short listen and I hope we hear more about Mat and Liza in the future.

The narrators were great. I loved their flow between voices.

Amazing start to a full story with these characters, but so short. I was left really wanting to know everything about these characters and their story. I’m so sad that it finished and will be looking for more. The narration was good and fit the characters .

Oh Mari Carr! You can't just leave me hanging! This is a tease for Liza and Matt's story. These two are not meant to be, are they? Coming from families that have been feuding for years, these two are always at odds. Competing in careers, the stuck up Matt is always doing whatever it takes to get under Liza's skin. So when her date for the company fundraiser fizzles out, Matt is there to pick up the pieces and give her the one night of passion she is yearning for. But will one night be enough? Hot chemistry and enough magic between these two to leave me wanting more, I am looking forward to more of their story.

Marina Barrett and Theo Sinclair bring this gem to life. Barrett fills Liza with the competitive drive and wanton need as she has. She brings out the her emotions with a raise in her voice and makes her very relatable. Theo Sinclair is a perfect fit as Matt. Very arrogant, but ready to deliver, Sinclair uses his nuances to create a character easy to fall for. This is a great casting and I can't wait for more.

The voices was easy to listen to and great way to listen to this author.

It felt like a good build up to more. Was a great little book to listen to. I loved their relationship and how it went from enemy to more so quickly. Really enjoyed it, I will definitely look out for more by this author.

Wow, this is a fantastic enemies-to-lovers romance and an explosive start and introduction to Liza Moretti and Matt Russo’s story. The Moretti and Russo family have history, a family feud that carried on for generations, but that is not the only reason Liza disliked Matt, he is an arrogant and entitled billionaire, too. Liza, who works for a non-profit, is running the gala fundraiser, and against her better judgement, she brought a date that turned out to be a disaster. Matt is a chair on the board and is in attendance with his girlfriend, a shallow, spoiled woman who he has had enough of. Liza had caught Matt’s attention prior to the gala, and he had his eye on her that evening, knowing her date went south he could make his move. The chemistry between these two is sizzling hot, Liza feels that and gives into her desires just for the night and the two were magic together. I loved how everything played out in the book, the writing, plot and world building is fantastic, as are the character growth and development. This is just a tease of what’s coming and ends with you wanting to know what happens next for these two. Mari Carr, thank you for another amazing story!

Loved the dual narration of Marina Barrett and Theo Sinclair

The Moretti and Russo family feud that carried on for generations, but that is not the only reason Liza dislikes Matt, he is an arrogant and entitled billionaire, while Liza, works for a non-profit, is running the gala fundraiser, where she brings a date that turned out to be a disaster. Matt attends the gala with his girlfriend, a spoiled woman. Matt can not keep his eyes off Liza. When her date gets worse Matt steps in. The chemistry between them is off the charts and a very hot night together proves their chemistry is amazing.

This is book 5.5 in Carr's Italian Stallions series and can be read/listened to as a standalone. That said the story leaves our two main characters in limbo for us. Dual narration by Barrett and Sinclair are perfection as they bring our main characters of Liza and Matt whose family have been at odds for generations. While these two have known each other all their lives, circumstances are perfect on one holiday night after an event that both are involved in. Carr delivers a short but wonderfully well written, steamy scenario between these two which has me eagerly needing more! I desperately want to know what torchers Matt and how the two can somehow find a HEA - because frankly that's what i now need for these two! Great characters, wonderful storyline - but a to be continued...and fantastic steam! I loved this read / listen and can't wait for more!
