Oh this was bad...
This is the worst narrator I've ever heard. Sienna seems to be doing her best to embody Sookie Stackhouse. As cringy as it was, it was by far the most consistent accent of the whole book. Note: Sookie was not from Georgia. Tasty burger needs a lot more practice...you can tell when she'd stop recording and try to pick it back up again which always changed the tone of the story.
The story itself was just as bad and made no sense as to a linear approach to the growing attraction between the 2 main characters. The backstory seems to have been made up as the story progressed. It was all 9vee the place...just bad.

Love The Story But Not The Narrator
This story would have been so much better with another narrator or two. She spoke like a run on sentence sometimes. So many parts she rushed into to the scene without a beat. Then her accent for the grandmother was horrible when she tried one. At times it was like she just gave up. She wasn’t consist with her narration. Then whoever edited this audio left so many pauses & mistakes in it. The narrator would make a mistake & repeat herself in that same dull voice. I tried changing the speed of her voice & even that didn’t help.
Also the end of the story felt rushed & needed more detail from the writer. I also felt it could have had more juicy conflict from the ex girlfriend to spice it up a bit. If I had it to do all over again I wouldn’t have paid for this book. Wish it was free with my subscription. Not worth the credit.

Struggled to listen...
Liked the story although I think there could have been much more added to it. I struggled listening because the narrator wasn't too good, it made it difficult to really enjoy the story.

...finding their way to HEA.
Sienna and Kai start off a wee bit rough in this fast paced story, before finding their way to HEA. The story in of itself had potential. However, the narration was sorely lacking for me. The issues were varied and many making this one of the most unpleasant listening experiences I have had. I will read / listen to more books by Joi Miche, however if Ms. Berger is reading the book I will have to pass unless there is significant improvement with her delivery.

bad berger
I love AMBW stories. This story had soooo much potential, I almost wish I would have just read it instead of listening. The narrator was flat. It gave Student teacher vibes. The mispronounced words,awkward flow,terrible southern twang and repeats did no justice for this book. I don't blame the writer. I whoever said "yep, Taste T. Berger should read this book aloud and completely murder it for the listener." When I read books, I place myself in the story, a obscure character or sometimes the main character, the story comes to life me. I could not step into this story with the orator. I will, however, read another book of the authors and pray to the Gods that it's not Berger.

A great effort!
This story has a lot of potential and I found it to be really enjoyable. There were some production issues that are a bit hard to overcome: lag time in dialogue, mispronouncing words, and repeated lines or obvious speaking errors. Despite all that the romance story is most definitely there. I love AMBW Interracial romance and their are not many out there. Glad I picked up this quick listen.

An enjoyable listen
I really enjoyed this story, and the narrator captures the FMC very well. I enjoyed the different conflicts and their resolutions, as well as how the storylines were intertwined
