so good!
The writing is atmospheric & yet genuinely funny in places. The dialogue is fast & smart. The story had lots of room for gray areas. Would definitely read more in this series.

Really good and fast piece story well narrated
Great narration, fast paced story, lots of action, believable characters and a few twist you didn’t see coming. Really can recommend it to anybody who likes thriller noir. No moment did I not feel the story move forward and have fun hearing it. I’m looking forward to the rest of his books.

OUTSTANDING!!!
How can this be Mr Cosbys first novel, every chapter is word perfect, a book with heart, violence that's as brutal as needed, funny and recommended as any book I've read this year. His next 2 books are just as good although this is my favourite. The best part of finishing this book is knowing there's a book being released in 2023.

The story and the narration are great
The previous books that I have listened too from Cosby were outstanding and this one is not far away either. The ‘Skunk’ character in the story is marvelous and it would be great to have the chance to listen to a whole book of his adventures!

An Excellent Debut
This novel is, I think, S. A. Cosby’s first, and it absolutely doesn’t show. This man just exudes literary talent, not only does he craft an excellent, intriguing plot, populated with believable and real characters, but even the most banal and mundane sentences in his stories read like poetry. (If you’ve read any of his books before then you know what I mean, and if you haven’t then you’re in for a real treat.)
The narration by Adam Lazarre-White is first rate.

S A Cosby is one of todays best thriller writers - all his characters are well formed and his story lines utterly believable if not jaw dropping . Adam Lazard-White makes his book jump out at you . A near perfect partnership .
