About this listen
A sexy new brother's best friend romance from New York Times best-selling author Kendall Ryan.
There are a few things you should know about my brother’s roommate.
Wolfie Cox is...complicated. And incredibly sexy. Unfortunately, he has an impressive stick lodged so far up his ass, he’s about as emotionally available as a chinchilla. Actually, that might be an insult to the chinchilla community.
So, naturally, I want to ride him like a bicycle.
He thinks I hate him. Mostly because I’ve led him to believe this. It’s easier than admitting the truth.
And while Wolfie is about as soft and cuddly as a fork, I’m the opposite. A good girl. Reliable. Conscientious. Oh, and completely panicked about an upcoming work conference.
Wolfie’s usually allergic to altruism, so when my brother convinces him to help me out by escorting me to said conference where everyone else will have a plus-one...I say thanks, but no thanks.
Surprisingly, Wolfie is unflinching about this. And that’s the story about how I got stuck in a hotel room with my brother’s hot (grouchy) roommate.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
In all seriousness, this isn’t a game to me, and hormones aside, I need to impress my boss this week so the promotion I’ve worked hard for doesn’t get handed to his worthless nephew. But with Wolfie and me sharing a hotel bed, things get confusing quickly.
This is book two in the Frisky Business series, but each book can be listened to as a complete stand-alone.

A wonderful story with heart
I didn't have high expectations for this book, not because of the author but just in the way my mood has been lately. Well, Kendall must have taken this as a challenge. Not only did she write a book that was captivating but was also deep with emotion. It's rare to find a book where the hero is the one that needs support and understanding. It was so refreshing and a subject matter that was handled well and not in detail. That being said, it is still classic Kendall with humor and lightheartedness scattered throughout.
Penelope and Wolfie we're so wonderful together. I loved how they complemented each other with their personalities and actions. I loved the chemistry between these two characters and how they progressed through the story and could connected with each other on all levels. The sexual encounters were an important part of this story and they were both sexy and beautiful in the way they were addressed.
Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt are fantastic in this audiobook. They were the perfect voice actors for this story. They both have a wonderful way of conveying the emotions the characters feel and that was showcased well here. The transitions from gender to gender and pov to pov was smooth and not jarring. My only little issue was the choice of voice for one of the side characters, Andi had him sound very different to Jacob but it's a minor character and most probably wouldn't notice it or care. It’sconly because Andi’s performance of him is so funny that it stood out to me. Production was smooth with no issues to note.

Obvious plot
Although I found the hidden plot for the main character Wolfie and also Connor obvious I still enjoyed this book. Kendall Ryan does like to reuse plot lines by twisting them between the male and female leads but I still enjoy her books for the times when I want to listen to something I don’t want to use my brain power on. This is a nice love story with a different twist this time for the lead male character where yes you guessed it love prevails. I don’t seem to be bursting any bubbles here I don’t think I’ve read a book from Kendall Ryan with out a happy ending.
So download and enjoy!

lovely story
I loved the 'characters' voices so much! I loved how was the one scared to take the next step in the relationship and it was Penelope that had to pull him out of his shell.
I would've liked more of Wolfe and Connors relationship to be able to really feel the brothers best friend trope but that could just be because I never read or listened to the first book in the series.
This was a quick read that could really help if you're in a reading slump.
