Critic reviews

"Certain to appeal to mystery readers with green thumbs!" (The Denver Post)

I bought this book when I was bored and looking for something a bit different and I wish I hadn't bothered. For those looking for a traditional crime thriller, the book reads more like chick lit. The first murder doesn't happen until chapter 8 and the supposed 'detective' of the book, the wife, doesn't really do any detecting. Indeed the murder announces themself to her without her even suspecting them in any serious way. It passed a couple of hours but for those looking for big body counts and serious detecting they should give this a miss.
