Summary

Nobody could capture the Phantom. She was the wildest mare on Assateague Island. They said she was like the wind, that the white "map" on her shoulders was her mark of freedom.

Great book

If you could sum up Misty of Chincoteague in three words, what would they be?

This is a great book for young readers of pony stories. I found I kept waiting for more interaction with the children and ponies.

What about Edward Herrmann’s performance did you like?

When you stop listening to the voice and just listen to the story you know the narrator is good!
