Melts my Heart

As an educator I LOVED this story! There is always that one kid ... You can interpret that phrase two different ways and both are represented in the book. In the end, my heart melted and made me think of some of my students that was like Nick!

Great family road trip book!

We have listened to lots of books on our road trips over the years, and this one was my family's favorite. (Family consists of me, wife, 11 year old boy and 9 year old girl.) The story was funny and kept moving enough to keep us entertained on the long road. The reading was lively and understandable for the kids, who sometimes struggle on road trips to understand. The only downside was that it is relatively short, so we needed several other books to pass the time.

Great, short read!

We love listening to audiobooks on road trips. My 2nd grader enjoyed this book (1.5 hours) in one sitting. She even said, “that ended well!”

Great for kids!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I listened to this book while driving my 15 year old to a youth conference. I picked it out for my 9 year old boy who accompanied us on the 4 hour drive. My 15 year old usually listens to his own music, but he had liked this story so much when he was younger, he decided to listen along with us and that is saying something. I enjoyed the story and am proud to say that a word I invented when I was a teenager is still used in my own community. It is a nickname for the local college.

Lessons on Learning, Individuality and Forgiveness

My 11 year-old daughter, her friend and I listened to this book on a short Saturday roadtrip. This story deals with the handling of differing opinions, with kindness, respect and heart. After we had finished listening to the story, our daughter's friend said she had already read the book twice.

a classic story for the whole family

Nick is a 5th grader who loves words and is fascinated with how dictionaries come into being. He wants to see if he can get everyone called a pen a "frindle." His teacher, Ms. Granger, believes that it is all a silly distraction. This battle of wills is a funny, sweet story. I loved it.

Frindle

First of all Andrew Clements is a very talented author.
I recommend this book to people who love words and grammar and those who don't. This story is very surprising and interesting.
And i think from now on im going to choose frindle. And when im writing this sentence it shows frindle is mistake.
Sorry this recommendation isn't that good this book is the best!!!👍🏻
