Very good, but not what I expected.
Mitch Horowitz is an engaging and well researched author and I love his work. I was a bit disappointed in this for a couple of reasons, one being there wasn't enough about Edgar Cayce the other is it was most of this information is available on you tube with Mitch's lectures. But, I do have to say I enjoyed hearing the information...again.

Interesting, but only tangentially about Cayce
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, because Mitch Horowitz is always interesting. If you want an intelligent overview of New Thought and related ideas he's your guy. I'm often in the mood to hear broad discussion of such ideas without diving into any particular work.
What other book might you compare Mind as Builder to and why?
Probably one of the author's other works, One Simple Idea.
What about Mitch Horowitz’s performance did you like?
He's a good narrator and you know he's genuinely interested in the material you're hearing.
Any additional comments?
Judging by the title, I thought the book would be about "The positive mind metaphysics of Edgar Cayce". But all we actually hear from Cayce is his "mind as builder" line. Horowitz uses Cayce to start and end the book, but most of the book is an historical overview of positive thinking ideas. So he explores ideas similar to Cayce's "mind as builder", and examines the historical context in which Cayce was working. Which is fine, I found it all very interesting. I just thought there would be more material from Cayce himself.

Outstanding Information
Nothing is more rewarding when the author is also the narrator. Mitch Horowitz delivered once again and I will be looking for more audiobooks narrated by him. I am particularly fond of the Edgar Cayce material and how it applies to every day people and every day life. This audiobook is definitely worth a second listen to catch anything that I may have missed the first time.
