Summary

Two men, dozens of cities, and a connection they just can't seem to shake.

We haven't spoken in 15 years, and Marlon is the last person I expected to run into in a bar on Bourbon Street.

He's not my gangly internet pen pal anymore; he's all muscles, body hair, and temptation.

Our friendship feels like it never faded, but the heat between us is brand-new.

We're both in different cities every few weeks, hustling to build our careers and soaking up all the perks of being young, hot, and untethered. But our paths seem to be crossing more and more often.

“Meet me there…”—they're my new favorite words. Honestly, I think I'd follow Marlon anywhere. Does he feel it, too?

Meet Me There is a stand-alone, super steamy, ultra-swoony best-friends-to-lovers, long-distance-love, coming-of-age-in-their-30s MM romance with very low angst and lots of happy mushy feels.

Brill

This is a brilliant story and I loved following both Reed and Marlon after they reconnect. They have brilliant chemistry but only friendship with benefits in mind. I love how they help each other find their path. There some steamy scenes. Nick does a brill job of narrating.

Just that bit extra

Nick J. Russo, brought just that extra bit to an already good book. His voices to the story are that extra bit that bring it to an amazing listen.
🎧 5*

I really enjoyed reading Marlon and Reed their story. I like the concept of old friends who reconnect. They where internet friends in their teens when they where finding their feet as gay teens.
Now 15 years later they meet by chance whilst travellig for their respetive jobs.

They rekindle their friendshipi but soon add steamy benefits whildt meeting up across the country. They are not exclusive and just enjoy live. After they both transituon to other careers they do not travel anymore and have to find a way to keep their friendship fresh. And finally they both find the courage their exclusivity and later on more. When I felt the story lost pace I recognized it resembled the more seditary pace of the mcs their lives, as the pacing felt more spiried during their more hectic times whilst travelling all over.

Fun bits in the story: lockerroom scene for three and the Heathens Ink surprise. Loved it.

Super sweet

Story: A super, super sweet story of a long distance friendship that slowly but surely evolved into much more. Loved the premise of the book and love the author’s idea for the MCs! The chemistry is off the charts and their personalities, with oodles of banter and sweetness, were the icing on the cake.
A great feel good read!
Narration: great voice and a great performance. Brought the characters to life without overpowering the story.

Very steamy. Very enjoyable.

Nick J Russo gives a wonderful performance in this very enjoyable story of two men in their thirties who were internet best friends in their teen years. Circumstances have them crossing paths again 15 years later and jumping immediately into a steamy heat filled encounter.

They meet up a few times a year for a while before they finally both admit their true feelings for each other. It’s a joy watching the relationship grow between Marlon and Reed, obliviously at times. Always being there for each other, bolstering each other up and falling asleep together via FaceTime even when there’s a huge physical distance between them.

There’s lots of steam, very minimal angst and also some sweet and tender moments as Marlon and Reed make the journey from friends to lovers and a swoony HEA.

The narrator maintains the cadence and tone for all the characters throughout the entire performance And he’s a superb fit for this audiobook.

“Until we’re stardust”

Nick Russo's narration of this book was perfect! I fell in love with Marlon and Reed all over again. I can't imagine a better narrator for this book.

Loved this story from start to finish!!

This book was both sweet and sexy with just the right amount of 🔥🔥🔥.

Marlon and Reed were destined to be together it was only a matter of time before their paths crossed.

I think this is one of Kyleen's best books ever, which is saying a lot with the caliber of stories she writes. Knowing she got inspiration for this story on her trip to New Orleans, with Mia and Abbie, was icing on the cake.

Cute

My first by this author, overall it was entertaining, little too much sex for my taste and I found both men kinda annoying with the whole ' we are BF with benefits '. But it takes two years to figure everything out.
You have two MC that met online, developed a fast and long friendship. Then life happened, lost touch. Years later, meet again.
The story is them over the next couple of years relearning each other. Sweet. Finding themselves.
My one big issue, neither one has ties to the area they live, both travel for work, so not tied down by jobs, no family issues, etc. But it doesn't occur to either one to do something about the living situation until the end of the story...... really.....

Nick J. Russo does an excellent job with the narration.

Home is where you are…

Do gay Gypsies exist? Yes they do in this novel!
What happens when two friends get reacquainted in various locations, hot sex is the first thing that occurs…feelings and the need for each other come next.
After not speaking for 15 years Internet friends from their teen years Reed and Marlon are reunited.
Marlon has become a model and travels all over the globe to do photo shoots. At some point this becomes very unfulfilling and he’s looking for more for his career and for his personal life.
Reed rights for an online magazine and longs to be a “real writer”. After they’re faded rendezvous with each other Reed comes up with what he thinks is the next best thing for his career, traveling as a vagabond gets old very quickly.
As these two characters support each other‘s dreams and run into each other and meet up at various cities and hotels real feelings begin to develop, a romance begins.
Can these two ever give up their traveling and nomadic lifestyles to be a couple in the same city?

Amazing world building and character develop have you invested in these two characters and wanting to know what happens next, where will they meet up, well they achieve their dreams and goals separately and together?

This is an amazing story to read and makes you want to travel and see the world. Don’t pass this one up it’s an amazing summer read.

The audible version is so well done you won’t be able to pause it. Great voice work and accents bring the characters to life!

Good job by Nick J Russo!

I enjoyed the book, which is KM Neuhold's trademark fun, flirty, sexy, rom-com. Nick J Russo did a great job bringing it to life.
For me, though, this was better in print. so much of it includes text messaging with copious use of emojis, which are OK when reading, but not so entertaining to listen to. Even Nick's considerable skills can't make reading a string of kissy-face and other emojis entertaining, in my opinion.
The rest of the story is great, though, and the emoji issue is probably just me being a boomer.
