But... nothing happened
Another catalogue of problematic behaviour and worrying attitudes (that go unchallenged) by all concerned except this time there isn't really a plot. The story didn't build to anything, the characters didn't grow or change. This scenario didn't need a second book. I can't recommend it.

Missing excitement
Nice story although it could have had a twist or two to add anticipation. The main character’s could have been a little older, it felt like the sex scenes we quite detailed and steamy for 16/17 year olds.
The best part was Teddy Hamiltons narration. I love his voice.

Brilliant follow up of Eli and Ava’s story. 👍👍👍
Although this about late teens/young adults, the themes are definitely more of an adult nature with quite graphic sex scenes.
The story was great and a good follow on from the earlier book about when they met. They have great chemistry 🔥🔥🔥and it’s themes are a pretty accurate representation of real life. I think it’s far better when authors keep it real, as not everyone is a billionaire dominant blah blah blah…..that scenario has totally been done to death😁
It’s a really enjoyable story, with twist and turns and some real LOL moments, with a good few OMG moments thrown in too. Great and authentic narration 👍
I’m really liking this authors books. Would highly recommend for a very enjoyable listen. Definitely a 5⭐️

Awesome book!!
I listened to this audio book a while ago but I never left a review and it totally deserves one. The connection between characters was enjoyable to listen too. The story was interesting from start to finish, so much so that I had to read more of monica murphy's work as she had me smiling and feeling the emotions of the characters and I so love to read a book that is capable of doing that :). Teddy hamilton and Sarah mcEwan did a great job in bringing the characters to life :)

I was constantly waiting for the 10yrs later part.
There was nothing in the blurb to let me know that this was about a 16yr old girl and 18th old boy. That may have been the beginning so I was waiting for the 10yrs later part where they find each other again. There was too much experience in the sexy time for such young people who are only teenagers. Overall I didn’t enjoy this story.

mediocre... teen sex, no plot zzzz
Huge disappointment. I have mixed reviews from this author's other books, but this one is definitely one of the negative ones.
The biggest problem is that there is no story... no arc just a rambling of teen cheerleader dates teen quarterback and that's about it. I actually like some HS romance/drama, but this wasn't about romance; it's about teen sex and school rivalry. The writing is weak, the dialog is not 16-17 y/o's, it is written from an adult thoughts and experiences instead of HS kids. Hard to get into the sexual aspects without cringing...(which is contantly mentioned) blech!

Eli Friggin Benett
What a great continuation to Eli and Ava’s story. I wasn’t sure how Monica Murphy was going to get me to love Eli Bennett but she did. He has my heart.
Sarah and Teddy made these great characters come to life. Loved every minute of this book.

Cute conclusion
Cute finish to a HS romance. It was what I would expect from a HS romance. I love the ending and their story. It’s believable because kids go through these things and kids fall in love early and stick by each other. My spouse and I have been married since our senior year 26 years ago. Once again Monica has given me a story that I fell in love with and I love the characters.

Book number three for me I love this series I didn’t read the first one but kind of not interested. I want to keep going the way I’m going can’t wait for the next one but that being said I’m off to the next good job Monica Murphy.

High school HFN ♥️📣🏈💙
This is the second part of Eli and Ava‘s story, but it’s not the ending. If you like high school stories, with the high school drama, and everything that goes along with being a teenager, this is a good book for you. It really does sound like a bunch of highschoolers, so if that’s not your thing, then it is probably not the book for you.
If you enjoy listening about first love, high school rivalries, and kids finding their way in the world, then this is a good book for you.
The narrators did a good job, but I listened to it a 1.3 because it was long and a bit tedious at times.
Overall, it was good, and it will be interesting to see what college has for them all.

Good Continuation
I was happy it picked right up from where it ended and also happy that it didn't get overly drawn out and while there is angst and drama it was nice to see more of Eli's family life and getting to know him a bit better. Narration was done well.

I know my last post was about being not happy but spoke too soon. I found the next book and have throughly loved it. If the first one would not have been so great then I would have not been so sad. Thank you for this book it was the best.
