Critic reviews

"A truly important book." (Rabbi Harold Kushner)
"Brilliant! In this audiobook, we are privileged to share the richness of Frankl's experience and depth of his wisdom." (Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, M.D.)
"A powerful psychological exploration of the religious quest. Man's Search for Ultimate Meaning is to be treasured by psychologists and theologians and by men and women who wrestle with ultimate questions and encounter God as often in the question as in the answer." (Michael Berenbaum)

A Must-Read for the Soul:

To the reviewer who called this book a "waste of time," I respectfully disagree. "Man's Search for Ultimate Meaning" isn't just a book; it's a lifeline. Viktor Frankl's experiences in the Holocaust and his insights into finding meaning in suffering are nothing short of transformative.

Yes, this book delves into deep existential questions, and it may not be light reading for everyone. But if you're open to exploring the depths of the human spirit and discovering how to find purpose even in the darkest of times, this book is an invaluable gift.

Frankl's message of hope and resilience is more relevant now than ever. In a world that often feels chaotic and meaningless, "Man's Search for Ultimate Meaning" offers a guiding light. It teaches us that meaning isn't something we find outside ourselves, but something we create through our actions, our attitudes, and our relationships.

This book isn't just about surviving hardship; it's about thriving. It's about discovering the strength within ourselves to face life's challenges with courage and grace. It's about finding meaning in the ordinary moments and embracing the beauty of life, even in the face of suffering.

If you're seeking a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you, if you're searching for hope in a world that often feels hopeless, I urge you to read "Man's Search for Ultimate Meaning." It may just change your life.

Insightful!

Hard to follow at times due to its technical nature if one does not have the industrial and technical background.

Do not waste your time with this book.

Stick to man's search for meaning, and spend your time on something else.

This is probably the worst book I have ever read, it jumps between science and pseudoscience and especially the first part of the book is infuriating. This makes it really hard for the reader to take something good from the book's last half.

I was looking forward to this book after reading "man's search for meaning" but this book have disappointed me so much that I doubt that I ever will read Viktor E. Frankl again. It has completely shattered my confidence in Viktor Frankl.

I just hope that this book do not harm a faithful non critical reader, since the book makes it hard to distinguish science from pseudoscience, and I do not trust myself to take much from this book.

I hope that you will take my advice and read something else, if not I can only say "I told you so" when your are 2 hours in.
At that point I would finish it, cause Viktor some how nearly redeem himself in the last half, even though it will not sweeten the bitter taste in your mouth left from the first half.

I am sorry but this is the first book that I have ever read that I will actively discourage people from reading.
I have read books that I found dull or odd, books that I would not recommend, but this is the first that I will advise against reading.
