An enjoyable listen
I liked this it was well balanced with the history of Patrick, his insights and the people important to him included. That he is old enough to really take stock of his life is good too.
I enjoyed the stories he included and how heartfelt some parts were.
The narrator being the man himself was most important to me as it gave the story depth and made the audiobook more entertaining. I thought he did a good job.
One of my favourite parts was his thoughts on certain Star Trek episodes as its something I have always been curious about.

Amazing listen from start to finish!
As a life long Star Trek fan of course I was intending to pick up a copy of Making it so on print however once I saw that it was on Audible and that Patrick himself was going to be narrating it, the choice was a no brainer!
From his humble beginnings as a young Yorkshire lad (a northerner myself) hearing of his family life and the beginnings of his acting passion (which clearly shines through while listening to this book) to the days on the RSC and then onto Hollywood, this book keeps you gripped and waiting on nearly every word! A wonderful book that I will be revisiting with the print version but 100% happy I choose to listen to the audio version first!

A privilege to listen to
From start to finish it made me smile, reflect, laugh and shed the odd tear. I know there is a point while listening to this beautifully written book where this great man makes one feel as if they know him because of his candour and openness, but for me he has become my inner friend, one whom sadly I may never actually meet. Thank you, Sir Patrick.
