Summary
Love at first sight.
That’s what it was when Rip Myers came up to me in kindergarten. From that point on, we were inseparable best friends.
When I work up the courage to tell Rip I love him, I am met with rejection. He tells me he treasures our friendship too much. That statement might as well be a knife to my heart.
I want to hold out hope that he’ll change his mind.
Instead, he moves on.
The only choice I have is to pretend that doesn’t slay me.
So, I say yes...to the man I love. But he isn’t the man I’ve been in love with nearly my entire life.
Love at First Sight is a stand alone novel.

Does she need some cheese with that W H I N E?!?!
DID NOT FINISH!
Finally gave up with 4m 9s remaining in Chapter 20!
For Gods sake? SERIOUSLY!?
After catching him off guard with a declaration of soul deep undying love . . . he needed a minute!!
They had been best friends since childhood and Chloe was the one who stopped telling Trip she loved him!
That would tend to make a teenage/YA boy afraid to say something that could loose his best friend!!
Trip TRIED FOR MONTHS (begging) to talk to her and got stoned walled!
Chloe's best friend talked to get her to pull her head out of her spoiled rotten ASS!
And it's HIS fault he ran out of hope and moved on.
Its HIS fault all their first weren't with each other.
Its HIS fault she GAVE her V card away to someone she didn't love. Anyone remember that she supposedly still loves him?! GGRRR!
Why, you ask?
Because . . . let's recap here . . .
Trip ran after her, continued to beg her to talk to him for MONTHS, her best friend BEGGED her to talk to Trip, for MONTHS . . . and its STILL ALL HIS FAULT!
Jesus save me from self absorbed narsassitic beatches!

Fall in Love with Chloe & Rip
Chloe has been in love with Rip since kindergarten but he keeps putting her in the friend zone, then one day she gets brave enough to tell him how she feels but it doesn't end up the way she expects. Years later when Chloe comes home and brings her future with her, Rip knows he has to leap or lose the only women he has ever loved to his fears. I loved this story, it was all about the building of Rip and Chloe's love for each other throughout their lives. I cried a few tears and felt Chloe's yearning through the pages. This was my first read by Kelly Elliott but it won't be my last. I can't wait to read another book by her and fall in love all over again.

Lackluster love
This was a hard book for me. I almost didn’t make it through the first half. I found Rip to be a joke. He was devastatingly in love with Chloe his whole life, yet when she told him she wanted a relationship, he was too scared to persue it. Then he let FOUR years go by wanting her so badly he had to leave college, but never told her he love her too. SERIOUSLY?! What kind of wussy hero is that? This was my first book by this author. Maybe if I had read the previous books, as I could tell there were many, I would have been more understanding of the totally lackluster “all consuming” love the H and h shared. But it did not come through as very believable.

A Waste
Unfortunately the protagonist female character was annoying. Her relationship with her fiance makes her seem clueless and childish. And the characters feel one dimensional. I couldn't get into the story. A waste of time.

Sweet Love story!
Kelly Elliott has written a sweet and loving story of two people knowing what they want but letting fear guide them until they fight the fear and realize that the love they have for each other is stronger than anything that could ruin their relationship. Savannah Peachwood and Stephen Dexter bring this story to life. Loved it!

Good
Not my favorite but good still. I only bought it because I loved the cowboys and angels series and had to know what happened to Cloe.
