Summary

Against the devastating Blitz of London, normal life must continue for Lizzie Larch. With Sebastian returning to war, Lizzie must make a success of her business in order to survive and to care for her young child.

One of the better books.An unexpected twist in the story, as sometimes you can feel what is going to happen! Easy to listen too.

I went into this thinking it would be a quick easy read , but it was so much more in fact I’m just about to start listening to the next one it’s so good.

wonderful story

Great book in a series of 3. This is the 2nd book well written and wonderfully narrated. It's just ashame after reading the 1st and 2nd the 3rd book, lizzies daughters isn't available on audible

Wonderful

This is such a lovely story so well narrated by Juliette Burton. I’m looking forward to listening to the sequel “ Lizzie’s Daughters”. It is the first book which I have listened to written by Rosie Clarke and I will certainly listen to more.
