Summary
Betty Dawsey knows that breaking things off with Thom Lange is for the best. He’s nice, but boring, and their relationship has lost its spark. But steady and predictable Thom, suddenly doesn’t seem so steady and predictable when their condo explodes and she’s kidnapped by a couple of crazies claiming that Thom isn’t who he says he is.
Thom is having a hellish week. Not only is he hunting a double agent, but his fiancé dumped him, and thanks to his undercover life, she’s been kidnapped.

Hilarious and great story line
Loved it. As usually Kylie Scott has the best female characters in these books. Love how Betty is so funny and smart mouthed. Great action scenes as well.

Absolute Perfection!
Let me just say this.... Hold on to your seat!!!
This is a brilliantly written, fast paced tale of disappointment, love, espionage, heartbreak, guns, hot bods and friendship! It will have you totally enthralled until the end credits... You will question you ability to guess what happens next, then second guess, then guess again to be sure!
... You won't be disappointed!
Andi Arndt can do a better male voice than a lot of male narrators, and her performance doesn't disappoint with this book!!
This book is on the rare list of "will listen to again and again"

Amazing!
You honestly can’t go wrong with Kylie Scott.. this one had me in suspense, in love, heartbroken and happy again! What a roller coaster 😍

Superb narration, storyline not the authors best
Andi Ardnt is a wonderful storyteller, but even her great performance couldn’t make this story credible.
Kylie Scott is super… one of my all time favourites, I like the dialogue between her characters and the way her stories unfold but for me this was an experiment into action and suspense,which didn’t quite work.
It was loosely based on True Lies featuring Arnie and Jamie lee Curtis … and just too far fetched.
I did finish it.. so not that bad, but not kylie at her amazing best

Great Summer listening
A lot of action this time - and not mainly sex. It was like listening to a James Bond future scenario. The narrator is excellent.

loved the twists turns and action
Great story! Lots of exciting action which kept everything popping along. The twist at the end is perfect. Fab narration by Andi Arndt .Highly recommended.

Can't decided between 3 or 3.5 Stars
I didn't hate this. I also didn't love it. The story was very convoluted and Thom was just not a very likeable person. And as much as Betty wanted to make me believe she was a badass. I just didn't buy it.
