Contrary to the other review, this book/pdf is easily found online so I listen along with the printout.

A clarifying and engaging book
If you started reading Aleister Crowley and found his vast system of symbols too dense, this books is a great simplifier. Carroll strips away most of Crowley’s dense lore in favor of cutting to the chase: how might one cause change to occur in conformity with will?
The techniques in this book are wonderfully accessible and fascinating. Concerning ceremonial magick specifically, I don’t think many people will have success with his methods. In my opinion, driving oneself into a frenzy is easier and less generative than developing one-pointed concentration.
If this is your first book on the occult, I recommend reading Crowley’s Book 4 next. Parts 1 and 2 are highly clarifying, while part 3 is incredibly dense.
tldr: forget about magick, just meditate.

Magick is real
A plethora of information with respect to a subject that is usually obscured in wordy words and intertwined concepts. This book is the ABCs to spirituality pulled from Egypt and nowadays practiced in North America. Jack Parsons is my idol.

Perfect introduction to the art of Chaos Magick.
Provided easily understood insights by one of the Chaos Magick movements leading voices. Paradigm shifting in its delivery of information, if enough listeners practiced the concepts and actions detailed in these two books in a single volume, we could change the world! 🌎

Thought provoking and useful manual for practice and theory
This was a excellent overall primer for Chaos Magick as well as serving as a dive into what ritual practice actually looks like.

Thought-provoking deep dive!
Well written, well performed. This is a great book for someone looking for a good array of theories and paradigms to apply to a personal practice.
