AMAZING!
I have been researching Buddhism for the past year and found it to be very complex, like most religions, but when I got the chance to listen this book it opened my eyes to the fundamentals that I had been overlooking with all the information I had gathered to that point. This has revolutionized my practice and made me into a better Buddhist not focusing on the ritual aspects so much but the initial teachings of the Buddha prior to the advent of all the different sects. This is a must listen for anyone looking to understand Buddhism for either their own practice or for the on looker trying to see what Buddhism is all about.

The best book on Buddhism I've ever purchased.
After a lifetime of fighting against becoming a Christian and still feeling guilty, I started to investigate Buddhism. My anxiety was exacerbated by guilt. So I started with this book because, due to my anxiety, I needed to listen something straightforward. That is exactly what this book is. It was very beneficial to me. And it contributed to the publication of more books about the Buddha and Buddhism.

Awful narration
Good content but for a lay person the narration was quite quick, and not engaging at all. Don’t waste your credit
