Keine Hoffnung für Nichts Angela Merkel ist als Bundeskanzlerin zurückgetreten, die Regierung in Berlin wurde von der "Bewegung besorgter Bürger übernommen" und Frankreich will aus der EU austreten. Es ist eine Zeit der Umbrüche, in der viele Menschen auf der Strecke bleiben. Sie wissen nicht, wohin mit sich und ihrer inneren Leere. Einziger Ausweg scheint für sie der Freitod zu sein. "Die Brücke" spricht diese Verzweifelten gezielt an. Was jedoch unter "Ego-Polishing" verkauft wird, ist eine Sinnsuche der anderen Art: Wenn schon sterben, dann für einen höheren Zweck - denn die Patienten werden hier auf ihren Märtyrertod vorbereitet...
