Solid foundation for medical Spanish
Looking for an effective way to learn medical Spanish but not sure where to turn with so many different resources out there? You can stop looking and just start listening to this audiobook. It contains 100 days of the most common words and phrases along with realistic dialogues. I have a fair understanding of Spanish, but learning the niche or specialty jargon always poses a challenge. You often need to be in the environment to pick up on this important jargon, but with this audiobook it's not the case. The reality is that any medical professional who is willing to take the time to learn Spanish in order to better communicate with their patients will find this audiobook of great help. The narrator has a strong command of both the Spanish and English languages. His voice was able to captivate my attention through these daily exercises. The book has some basics language barrier words and phrases to ensure you can communicate right off the bat with patients. The daily lessons go into learning different body parts, organs and medical conditions typical in a medical professional's daily interactions. What I found great is that it also covers what to say in case of emergencies, accidents, and even pregnancies. There's a ton useful information that I advise you to take it slow. Learn one day at a time and the go back to reinforce what you already learned. Of course, the best way to get the most out of this audiobook is to practice with Spanish speakers!
