Summary

A beautifully written story worth every moment.

One of my favourite Julie Klassen novels. It was a more difficult story, but full of characters I could care for.

Great historical novel

This story was so interesting, with so many quotes referring to the rearing of infants. I learnt so much about the use of the Wet Nurse and what this poor women had to endure to ensure the survival of their own child and themselves. The romance running through this story was so soft and kind and showed what a lady of those days had to suffer if they fell from grace. This strong women of the past pathed the way for the women of today and the future.

what a lovely satisfying story.

A beautiful story reflecting the spirit of the age and sad situation of unmarried mother's. This is a story of redemption and the grace of God, with a satisfying conclusion.
